@ ilostmymind - I think they mean you get access to tons of games for a low monthly subscription. Also, gaming is a different media type then shows and movies, where you want to download the game to have good frames and reduce input lag etc.
Ok but as an aging gamer, I actually prefer when games can be beaten in a reasonable time rather than 200 hours or whatever, because I just dont have the time for that. I wouldn't ever be able to finish it if it were much longer. That and with how many games get pumped out every year to play, if games were too long I'd never have time for 80% of the other games.
I dont think this is strife's main game. I think this is just a spinoff. I can see them doing a more traditional darksiders game for strife down the road. I could be wrong though

I actually enjoyed it. Wasnt mind blowing but I remember on the OG xbox having some fun with it. I'll probably pick it up if done right

The hardcore fans, as you put it, most likely have the X. Also, just because the original S has a disc drive doesn't mean you cant go all digital with it. You aren't forced to buy discs. I agree the price should have been lower especially if they are just testing the market, this high price might give false results that people aren't interested, when they are but just want it fairly priced

I think he is referring to the fact you compare it to L4D, and then question why when a hunter pounces on the character in the video she didnt become infected. In L4D you get pounced on all the time and never get infected either so it's odd you are questioning the immunity of these survivors. And it's a video game so of course they aren't going to have the main characters get infected after a simple pounce.
I think it should have been like the balloons, launches you extremely high so you can glide for maybe escape routes or to ambush other squads

This was back in 2017, I bet its closer to 50% or more now in 2019.
Metro Exodus got a lot of bad press right before release by backing out of Steam, making users cancel preorders and review bombing it.
Physical sales weren't great, but I think more and more people are going digital which these numbers dont include.
@Boing1 They said something about a premium TF game this year, but that could be anything from a mobile game to a card game at this point. They did say TF3 is not in development (this was posted 7 days ago)

My guess would be because too many people were doing the opposite, they were getting stomped so they switched to the winning team.

Actually there's a lot of games that have upgraded to meet the power of both the pro and x. Also, doubt the game is going to sell well so its smart for them not to invest heavily in optimization. Since one random game doesn't fully utilize the power of pro or X does not mean all games don't/won't.
@ Trooper- the only one that releases yearly is forza. Itll be 4 years since halo 5 and a few since gears most likely by the time the new ones come out
Glad someone else feels this way. Most the game are 8 year old xbox 360 games and the newer xbox one games like halo 5 most people already own or have played. MS doesn't release first party exclusives consistently enough to make the "all first party games will be day 1 on game pass" that great. So until other devs start putting day 1 titles on there, the service is going to have a few good games but mostly crap no one cares to play
They have been working on this game for years, well before the acquisition from MS. So it's something they wanted to make, not forced to
