This. Imagine if they even just took half of that 68 billion and invested it into its already 23 first party studios... but nope.
I've played better games for $20. This is a really bad game. Period. I guess I am glad a few can find enjoyment? But i also question their standards and what games they normally play. Hopefully more patches come and maybe I'll revisit it.
I guess I am living under a rock or just extremely lucky cause I do not experience that many issues when playing single player games that require a connection. Sure there is the day 1 patch that pretty much comes with every single game in existence, and some bugs that might need to be ironed out along the way, but my experiences have not been what you describe.
Do people disconnect their xbox or PC from the internet? Honest question, cause I guess mine is just always connected whether I'm playing single player games or multiplayer
@Jznrpg "MS was talking mad crap". They were? I didn't see that. Both shows showed mumtiplats but clearly MS showed way more first party games.
Can't believe this is flagged as inappropriate.
Which one was better?
@Lightning77 "Most people weren't expecting Fable to show up at all"
I think people definitely expected a Fable showing, especially with their teaser of glitter and Fable music a week ago. I didn't think the trailer was bad, but would've liked gameplay.
I'm actually more curious where the next Dragon Age is. Feels like it has been forever since that was announced then crickets.
@giovonni just because it was in limbo before MS, doesn't give MS a pass. Their name is now on this game. They could have done 1 simple play through of it and seen it was a train wreck. They have the money to stop, delay, and cancel games (see Scalebound, Fable Legends).
You should not be making excuses for them, they owned the company for years before release. It's not like they bought them and 6 months later this launched.
This is their whole game plan right. Getting subscribers VS actual sales. They would rather have 10 dollars a month from 30 million people (300 million dollars monthly) rather than bank on a AAA selling for like $700 million once or twice a year.
And I'm not saying they currently have 30 million subscribers, just that's what they would want instead.
So no one should say their thoughts or opinions on games shown at a showcase?
You can be impressed or not impressed by a concept trailer. If that's how they want to reveal their games then people are allowed to form opinions based off what is shown.
@Sonic1881 Of course redfall is, even if it scored an 8 it would've been the lowest scoring exclusive AAA of 2023 cause its the only AAA so far
Daedalic is like "don't worry Arkane we got you".
@olmyerslo he is doing massive damage control throughout this whole thread. Calling everyone who thought the show was bad a MS fanboy, when clearly he is the only fanboy here. It's kinda funny and sad at the same time.
Honestly, I thought the complete opposite. Pretty bad show imo.
Spiderman 2 I hope is amazing, but the more I watched of it, the less interested I became. But this is just me personally. I loved the first one, so I will day 1 buy the second.
I'm just glad MS has their priorities in order. Don't worry about ensuring timely, qualtiy game releases. As long the 10 people on boosteroid can play Gears 5, then pat yourselves on the back. Job well done.
I played Redfall, it is boring. Maybe the boredom comes for the horrendous AI that indie devs do a better job of making, but the game to me was indeed boring.
It is usually 1 interview where people make an article off of every sentence he spoke during that interview. He's not just rambling 24/7 to the media.
