another person, that I'm glad you brought that up, cuz people seem to look in the rearview mirror with rose colored glasses on, forgetting completely the gameplay was plagued by several problems,
on console it had a horrible checkpoint system as well
actually with sabre interactive working on it,
I have high hopes that the gameplay will actually be a little smoother and more consistent, as far as hitbox detection and a couple of other things that have plagued cryengine's console existence.
both home front and crysis suffer from that, not to mention a couple of other cryengine games..
I'll take one (without the vomit bag baby pouch) please...
That's what I'm thinking too,
people are reading way too much into this, I'm just hoping that they were at least able to go in and optimize it a little bit better, as well as visuals, but we'll see,
it will be foolish of them not to because there's not a lot of people that are going to run out and buy a game that still runs janky, no matter how much they've touched up the visuals...
I know I won't...
You're talkin about the backwards compatible "upgrade" it received for Xbox One X, which is merely the emulated Port running on that system.
The port for consoles was notoriously poorly optimized,
and no amount of horsepower can change that.
have to disagree.
the second one was a much better example, with all the problems and concerns being fixed, and it being more about what it was originally supposed to be.
which is a power fantasy...
I really thought crysis 2 was exceptional.
And inconsistent.
I hope that's the case,
because since they announced this I went back and started another playthrough of crysis, and I tell you it's showing its age,
and that was the remaster they did in 2011 from the 2007 release.
It was just on PC they threw as much as they could (kitchen sink) into that game, that no (reasonable built/ priced home setup) hardware at that time was capable of running it at Max settings, with everything enabled, but this constant claim tha...
It's nice that at least from my perspective, I can see how: a, biased and: b, full of shit you are.
First, it's Xbox doesn't support single player games, so there's nobody on the system.
then it's oh, it's because there's no one on Call of duty/multiplayer servers on Xbox so, gee, what do you think 50 million + people are doing?
It's so transparently childishly ignorant,
This little facade of a narrative you have...
...
Call of duty is hack Central,
it always has been.
this is just enabling more of it...
Just like cross-play wasn't going to happen... until it did.
Amazing things happen when the people speak.
Really?!...
I had Co-op drop THREE times the other night, SO NO, it isn't "running perfect and flawless" according to whoever ....
That is part of what's promoting it, people that love to get on and grief realize that's the case, they're not there to win, just there to give people a hard time...
the fact that its input based? well, XIM software has been out forever, and just like modded controllers("evil controllers" to name just one), the way they advertise and sell their product should make them completely open to legal ramification, yet these companies never go after them.
how ...
@monkey602
WWZ is a co-op game, Crossplay can be great for Co-Op play,
keeps you from sitting in a dead lobby.
some games seem to be more susceptible to competitive cheating, and even with tons of safeguards the PC crowd is really adept at being able to circumvent anticheat measures.
and there again, are certain games all cheaters just flock to and call of duty is definitely #1/#2 on the list
I can't imagine it's possible to play with four people and the difficulty turned up?! I just don't see that being possible at all, it can be a really demanding game
is that 720/20?... wow... just, wow 😱
Is it just not me,or does anybody actually have enough exotics to continually dismantle to risk re-rolling?!
I really like this game but I'm getting sick of all the repatching and fixing, the drop rate for good weapons is absolute shit. Not just exotics.
"Featuring in engine graphics"...
where would that be ?!
Show me gameplay that looks like that, and that's in-engine graphics...
that's just a render.
Echoinfinity is correct, the majority of PlayStations most highly-regarded games are not Eastern created games, they're from studios/developers outside of the East.
Who are you kidding?
Yes, please.
Console players never got that expansion, I would love to play through it.
