Giving you the upvote,
because in and of that sentence, you're correct, this does happen quite a bit.....
but, I think this is the public in general, (especially people that paid for the game)'s way of saying:
enough is enough.
and I'm thankful for that.
just like with loot boxes and a lot of other things, enough of the practice.
we're sick of it, loot boxes, pay to win, releasing shitty crappy broken games, practices...
@havesumnuts has it dead on.
the publish then patch game model has gotten way out of control,
and Bethesda put themselves in this position for having a reputation of buggy broken games, then having the nonchalant attitude as though it's business as usual.
I'm tired of hearing how big and ambitious it is, and how it should be forgiven.
then don't charge full price, absolutely, the idea of, I'm going to pay full price and it's going to ...
I've been as critical as anyone about this game, to me it actually looks to have amazing potential for it to be fun, and be a very unique online experience, something I would look forward to, particularly in the future.
the problem is, Bethesda has always gotten away with launching incredibly buggy stuff and this is the Pinnacle of that practice gone wild,
and all the little negative things they're doing as far as PR, the swag bag and that other stuff, is only goin...
They should have tethered this to the Xbox one instead Kinect, I would have bought five of them...👊(p.s., I'm a die-hard Xbox guy, but I couldn't resist, this is too great)..
Awesome,
I want the fallout 76 one,
I just found next year's Halloween costume👍
And I'm an Xbox guy, the surrealism of this is just too incredible to pass up 😱
except for,
again, it's not anything to do with Microsoft.
this is from a completely different source, and the only thing they're citing is an increase level of sales,
and that's all.
it's amazing how threatened and reactionary the PS4 Fanboy crowd gets over this kind of thing,
"oh we're still the number one console, all we still have tons more exclusives" although 95% of them are jrpgs that nobody buys to begin with, ...
Just throwing this comment in here with you, because you're the one that directly mentions it, that I see. it's a mild statement in correction, but needs to be said:
when you guys refer to OG Xone there is no OG Xone anymore,
they don't make the launch model any longer, same with PlayStation4. they stopped manufacturing the original models of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One a while ago,
you now have the slim version of each and then the PS4 pro and the...
I can take buggy too,
but it's gotten to the point where buggy is once again, delving constantly into the territory of being unplayable.
if it's going to crash constantly and you have to frequently restart, and it's corrupting the actual function of the game completely...
unplayable is unplayable.
and you're right,l we are seeing a lot of generic same same same thing.
it's because the same companies that are rushing out the...
It used to be when you had something new/different/creative (speaking to just that here) a lot of game companies were smart about it: along with their usual stable of games that were successful,
they would show it a little bit at a time, build on it a little bit at a time, and try to gauge interest for it.
but that's back when these companies, the greater degree, were far more honest, and you had a lot more individual publishers and development houses, instead of every...
Well it is free, not everything is going to appeal to everybody, every month.
they've got to try and do a good cross-section.
we'd all love to see the big hitters, that's just not how the world is, not withstanding you have to look at the business aspect of it, does it make sense for November and December, to have really excellent games that everybody wants to spend a lot of time playing, if you're trying to sell games over the holiday season ?...
I hadn't heard about any bugs either,
I wonder what the hell... ?
Maybe a bad install, that does happen...
I've had games run like crap after installing them.
After uninstalling/reinstalling it was much much better, in fact, I did that with Darksiders 2, and had to turn off the HP counter to stop it from running so choppy...
Wow.
reviews for this game are just all over the place, from kill it with fire, (and the people that made it) to an 8 on Game informer, and I think somebody somewhere else gave it a 9, unbelievable.
it wasn't going to be a day one purchase for myself, because everything has to be patched and adjusted, it's just a reality.
I can't get any game, even if I'd like to preorder for all the goodies, day one, might as well wait down the line a couple of mo...
Agreed.
I just think the majority of people don't understand, that it was announced back when internet speeds were simply too narrow and too slow to be able to uniformly do cloud destruction.
now your average bandwidth is 40-50 MB and it's possible, but they're still going to have problems.
Too many people that insist on using Wi-Fi, (sorry if you insist your Wi-Fi is incredibly stable, with no disconnects, you're just kidding yourself) and all of t...
