Wow really, he should take up writing comedy
very lame.. looked like some very bad dance choreography!!!
sounds like its going to be interesting. hopefully they breakout a demo so we can try it out for ourselves before releases.
Its said that the current AC series is supposed to be a 3 part series, well this is part 3 wonder if they plan on wrapping up this story.
first they gotta find a new studio to develop it
If MS does a price cut across the board then you can expect a new console announcement by the end of the year. i would anticipate a $50 price drop by summer.
While i do agree with you, it does fit with the previous RUMOR that the new system would not have backwards compatibility.
personally Japan and egypt sound good. but the only problem with those is the fact that the animus time line would have to go backwards to accommodate both of those civilizations. that would break the flow of the story. Maybe China, Thailand Or Russia. but if you look at timeline Conner is probably gonna be early to Mid 20s, so if its roughly late 1700s we will probably see an industrial US or London as the next possible setting for AC if they don't tie this whole story up in AC3
...
seriously the only thing i got out of that article(if its all true) is that the PS4 should be considerably cheaper. cost of Bluray drives have dropped as well as many of the other key components. so i can only hope the new console will cost 400 out the door. Unless the rebuild the priced sturcture
Im not gonna disagree that most games today are not as difficult as years past. Back in the day even normal difficulty was made to be a challenge. Today normal is easy for the most part.
But I'm gonna blame SOME(not all) of the reduction in difficulty to the multiplayer factor. Devs are so busy wanting to put multiplayer on everything that they dumb down the game just so you can get through it faster and play multiplayer.
but thats just my 2 cents.
The writer makes a few valid points but fails to realize that while digital distribution for games may be part of the gaming future its not the whole picture. game file size is increasing due to better and faster processing as well as larger media format.
What vendor is going to create a 20+ gig download only exclusive title. I only mention exclusives because multi plats are typically under 14Gig
whose gonna afford a console with at least a 1TB hard drive (es...
it really don't see it happening for one reason. .. it would cripple EA online pass income stream. And i say that because then they would not have an incentive to keep it active.
Kaos
current economic trends for manufacturing and distrubution sadly show that we may actually end up paying and average of 70 per new game for the next console generation, and a reduced price of 50 per game for previous generation. i admit its not much of a reduction..
but if you look at transport costs for everyday goods/ and cost increase of everyday goods and then run that across the board to non essential items(gaming consoles) you'll see the trend is on it...
gotta admit the author makes several valid point as to the pros and cons of this supposed change in gaming. what he did fail to mention is that MS is rumored to be playing with the same plan.. but.. As of now this is all rumor. i can see no B/C,but i don't see them going the anti used games route. because that would also open up the potential to lock games to a single console. and by doing that it would invalidate a certain PSN Plus feature, as well as open up the potential to force gamer...
I would agree with you on being an underdog. The game really did suffer from over hype though. But it is a fun game after spending 300+hrs in skyrim and(bugs and all).
ill have say he didn't play this game properly. I was able to swim in several bodies of water, plus they have loot in the water. Next sneak (finnese) skills in this game are not like Skyrim at all. Sneak really does require activation in the tree. Ive done a lot of close quarters stealth kills. and I'm still in the first 20hrs of the game.
if anyone has been paying attention, SEN is the banner all sony products with network access will be flying under. It was made pretty plain when Kaz took the reigns. He wants to unite all the network capable products. Its quite simple and makes a lot of sense. PSN is known by most for gaming, everything else it has is secondary. Using SEN gives them the chance to let the other services shine.
I'm both addicted and frustrated. I'm running it on PS3 and have experienced every single bug and they have been talking about. so i started over from scratch (i was level 68)and didn't put a single book on a book shelf, now I'm level 30 with a 8meg save file and only froze and locked up once. still a lot of lag but its playable.
as for you susanto1228, just because people have problems with a game and complain doesn't mean its not for them.
i played the ps3 demo and the only issues i experienced was pixel stretching. didn't experience any game freezing or anything like that. nothing that really ruined the experience. and considering that they said it wasn't the final code i have pretty decent expectations for this game..
i played the ps3 demo and was rather impressed with the game as a whole. While the graphics clearly were a throw back to WoW it was a breath of fresh air after spending 300+hrs in skyrim.
I did really experience all the bugs i had heard about. no feezing or complete game breaking flaws, i did experience some pixel stretching but nothing that stopped the flow of the game.
maybe i just got lucky.. but its definitely on my list of purchases now.
none of the next-gen consoles have been announced. Why all the hype over prospective hopefuls. trust me you'll all know when the real rumor mill starts spinning and you'll be able to tell what in the rumor mill is fact or fiction. Yes is highly likely that both houses are working on their respective heirs to their gaming empires but i doubt either is ready to give hardcore stats to the public just yet..
