As someone who had never played MH games before, I found MHW overwhelming. I didnt know what was going on and it was infomation overload far to quickly. This game explains its systems a lot better. I'm not saying it's a better game but I've found it much more easier to understand than MHW ever did.
I hope open worlds get scaled back next generation. So many IPs have been ruined this generation making the transition to open world.
Loading screens have pretty much become a thing of the past these days anyway? Outside of the inital load and when you die, games very rarely give you load screens anymore.
Marvel ain't about cartoons poking their polygons into each other either knowing full well the person playing that game is most likely tugging one out over it.
These sorts of games are never going to been seen as normal to a lot of people. That's no disrespect to the people that do enjoy them and get some sort of sexual satisfaction from it. Each to their own really but these games will always been seen as creepy, seedy and not normal to the general public. The sam...
Please say you're no older than 12? Being set in London alone would make for a great game with all the different cultures, the posh inner areas, the rough outer boughs, the gangs, hipsters, chavs, different accents etc. People say London would be boring as there are no guns in Britain... Crazy to think people genuinely believe that lol. I'm more excited for a game in London rather than another game set LA, NY etc.
I really hope WD3 is a mix one the first and second...
I just want a Getaway 3. I mean Sony has nailed the cinematic, open world genre for a while now. A return to the Getaway with the tech they got now would be so good
I think it checks for updates at a set time whilst in rest mode, any updates after that time, that day, won't automatically update until you jump on your PS4. I think maybe Sony should give us the option of what time it should check for updates like the PS3 did.
Probably cause GTA online didn't work for god knows how long
This is going to sell big numbers but its going to go majorly downhill when they add the kind of shit BO4 has (they don't put them in straight away so it don't affect review scores and avoid bad press). I've never seen so many MT offerings in any game ever, not even mobile as I have with BO4. Activision is worse than EA in every way possible but people shrug their shoulders lol
As much as I can't wait for the PS5, it's not going to be able to do 8K for PS5 games unless Sony has found some wizardry solution that will chnage the industry.
Maybe older generations of PlayStation games, streaming and media content would be able to output 8K but I don't think anyone can realistically think 8K will be the standard for all PS5 games.
It's because it's not what Ghost Recon was. Its another game that didn't need to go open world. It's another game using a name to simply push what should be a new game. It's another game using the same Ubisoft open world formula all it's open world games use.
Major move? These guys make rip offs of popular console games for mobile 😂
There was one part you had to hold the controller still and at that precise time my body decided it wanted to sneeze... You can guess what happened to that character lol
No one knew what to expect from the first SoP and with their announcement of them not attending E3 this year, I think people had got their expectations set high. Now we know its small bitesized chunks of news and know roughly what we are getting it should lead to less disappointment. Not that the first was bad, it just weren't what people were expecting I don't think.
Condemned was absolutly amazing. Aged pretty bad now but what a game. Its a shame Sega don't have much faith in continuing it
This gen has been pretty good for horror. RE2, RE7, Outlast (the first game more than the second), Layers of Fear, PT, Until Dawn, Alien... It may not seem like many but in comparison to last gen weve had quite a few highly regarded horror games.
The thing with that's statement is, so did Red Dead Redemption 2. The shooting was dire, the world was bland and the controls were horrible but that's a 10/10 game apparently. Yet this gets slated for those very same reasons by the media.
I know people do on games like ark but for toxic reasons like Insiding rival basses and stuff.
These reviews... Imagine reviewers bashing Days Gone for its unintresting world but praised Red Dead Redemption 2, one of the most boring and dull open worlds in recent memory. It may have looked pretty but my god it was mind numbing.
EA has done quite a considerable amount of damage to gaming but why does EA get all the blame when Activision is on par, if not worse than EA for shadiness and monetization.
Removing free content and selling it, selling weapons in loot boxes, re-selling DLC, re-selling DLC at a higher price than it was originally, removing MTs from launch so it don't get review bombed then adding them back in later, taking out the ablitly to buy DLC separately to force you to buy the se...
