It really was. A open world to do what you wanted and traditional multiplayer modes. GTA Online is absolute shit. The racing is the only good thing and I only play that cause these generation has been so bad for arcade racers.
And that's the problem. Now if Europe and the UK banned them, that would put a massive spanner in the works for EA but hopefully if the US ban them, it might make other places sit up and wake up. At least that's what I hope for lol.

Some games make better use of it than others. AC origins, God of War were beautiful but Black Ops 4, Ark and a few others were either look over saturated or had a foggy looking mist on my LG. Hdr seems hit and miss so these settings are welcomed
And your basing your view from IGN of all places? IGN have been known for being paid off, changing scores and have exclusives review bombed by fan boys of the opposite console.
It baffles me why casuals see IGN as the Holy grail of reviews. Like their word is final and no other publication matters.
Maybe it is a 6.5 game but take anything IGN scores with a pinch of salt.
Oh my bad, iarwber. I haven't tried league play. I usually get fed up of wait times because not many people play league or competitive playlists in comparison to its base playlists, but that's not exclusive to AL, its the same for most games with them in.
Unstable lol? The game is perfectly fine. The only thing that's happened is occasionally getting disconnected from the EA servers. Hardly what I'd call unstable.

8K will not take off any time soon. SD to HD was amazing, 1080p to 4K, not so much (HDR was a much bigger game chnager for me) and with 8K we start to get to a point of whether a lot of people can even see the differences who haven't got a stupidly big inch TV that wouldn't fit in most houses and perfect 2020 vision. With this generation being just a prettier, more polished version of last generation, I really hope something spectacular comes out of it. Won't happen. I feel sorry for Treyarch right now. MW has got a massive buzz around it, new engine, animation system etc, had the time to address some major issues with previous COD games and take time to do it. Because Sledgehammer messed up their next COD game so badly, Treyarch have to pick up the peices and rush out another BO game knowing that everyone most likely going to compare it to MW with half the development time.

Another thing, the previews, they have had nothing short of amazing feedback. It could be hype, but right now things are looking amazing for this game.
The thing I worry about MS buying all these studios is what freedom they will have. They could have three studios or fithteen studios but if MS only wants to push multiple studios to work on their very tired Halo, Gears, Forza strategy, then what's the point. We can't forget that MS have failed to launch a huge, new IP for a long time now.

The 'free' games aren't a bonus. PS Plus was always about the free games, discounts, exclusive betas, themes, avatars etc as long as you were subbed. I was there day one with PS one games and minis. I love this game but the aiming feels off to me. If some is close to you, the way the camera is and the direction you're looking at doesn't match up with the cross hair. It seems off but don't know how to describe it
