I mean here in the UK game ain't much better but the one here in Cardiff has a gaming area behind the counter that gamers can play games and stuff. Destiny 2s campaign seemed better because you didn't have to read through cards on a website to understand. It was still a generic evil monster wants to end humans story.
Destiny 1 had a great content by the end of the games lifespan but to then release D2 as bare bones as it did after people had so much to do in the first game was a massive mistake. It make the game feel hollow and the that first raid was so so so bad in comparison to the vault of glass.
And also One of the biggest genres right now alongside mobas. They ain't for everyone but for millions and millions of people and BRs massive player bases, alot of people would disagree with your statement.

Epic games have done nothing to Warrent being on EAs, actis, or Bethesda level. They've created a game which has caught the mainstream gamers which other companies wish could replicate. They've shaken up the PC market which has been long overdue after valve has become a shell of its former self because of the absolute drivel steam has become. Its literally spammed with indie and anime sex games, early access scams and bad quality control.

This seems like the blockbuster/Netflix ordeal all over again. They may not have to worry now but if GAME doesn't change soon it will die. GAME struggles without streaming with its overpriced games, horrible trading system etc. In 10 years time when I think streaming will be more accepted, its going to be a case of adapt or die.
