It's funny though how the author doesn't want to buy Uncharted because he 'plays in bursts' and doesn't want to 'scan a room for 10 minutes for a lever' while playing in one of these bursts and he thinks it is meant for the big screen but he wants a new Metal Gear Portable. No, it certainly is not but I would like to see the study that proves the analogue stick on the upper left to be more ergonomic than in the position it is right now. It's really kind of weired how a lot of people judge graphics just by resolution and framerate. I take 720p/30fps with quality artwork and details/effects any time over some 1080p/60fps bland and empty world.

I don't know about your hands but my thumbs feel pretty natural on the stick while still having great grip of the whole controller. Moving the thumb more to the upper left side of the controller would be way more cramp inducing for me and not natural at all. Still in the end i guess one could get used to it but for me it's really at an optimum the way it is.
The 'right place' is kind of an opinion, isn't it? For me the sticks are in a perfect position. What you consider as 'the right' place couldn't be more wrong for me.

I already had the disc version and platinumed it. For me Killzone 3 is the best online shooter. However after excessively playing it it gave way to other games and while I wanted to play a round from time to time I was to lazy to switch discs just for an hour or two. With the PLUS-rebate i bought the multiplayer and played two hours and what fun it was. Servers are full again and now that it's on my hard disc I look forward to play a round every now and then.

The only thing I can halfway agree with StealthWraith's opinion is the XMB. I think it's functional and all, but I sure find it boring and unattractive. I think the X-Box-Dashboard is much easier on the eyes, but all the advertizements are a bit annoying.
No, but after a certain amount of years the PS3 will die. Actually my first one died after about 4 years. The SLIM now is going strong but for how long noone knows... And once the PS4 is out who will want to cash out for a PS3? Also besides money there is always an issue of space. Who wants to have 7 consoles unter the tv? Me personally I would be fine as long as the PS3 lives forever.
I feel that it is bad writing at least. In the first paragraph they state that cell thing very briefly and instead of writing 'adding to previous rumors of AMD...' they write the next paragraph as if it was the foundation for their first statement which then doesn't make sense. I stopped reading the article after half of it for pointlessness. Where exactly is stated that there will be no Cell. They report that there is the rumor that AMD will make the GPU. Now they could build in a GPU from Matrox that would still not mean they would have to ditch the cell. Do I lack reading comprehension or is the article stupid? Serious question.
In Germany I just ordered a multi-sim from my provider and can now use cell phone and VITA at the same time without paying extra for online. Also, only the 3G has real GPS. I decided to rather pay the 50 bucks now than to fear to miss out on whatever may be coming.
Here is a more representative chart, comparing all Software-Sales in the UK for the first week (minus Mo & Tu). Still no numbers, but Uncharted was the most sold title across all platforms. FIFA VITA was second. WipeOut only 11th in this list. However, digital sales are not included.

Uncharted is really great. Chapter 32 right now and enjoying it a lot. WipeOut is also really nice.

I am not sure on the timing too, but often I get 6 lifes instead of 5 because during playing the first life already got recharged. So after about 30 Minutes or so you should be ready to go another 5 rounds.
What is more stupid though is that, if you want to get higher scores you'll need Totems and those other thingies. However, using them costs crystals. So again, they want to force you to buy crystals.
