Downloaded update on Android. Don't see any differences.
Why do we need a news article?
I think only about 50% of people subscribe to Gold (similar to PS+).
Not everyone plays online games. Destiny will be the first online game I've played in the PS3/PS4 era. [I do subscribe to PS+ though for the discounts and free games]
You don't get any of those games for free. You only get to trial them for 5 days pre-release.
The games you get for free are old. FIFA 14, Madden 25.
If you're a hardcore EA fan, how is this good in the long run?
Sure you might be able to sell your current FIFA, Madden, etc and cover the costs.
But what about new releases? Are you going to wait a year for them to come out? If you can't wait, this is pointless.
- You get access to a select number of older games (not new releases). It isn't clear if these games are full-featured.
- You get to trial new games 5 days before they come out.
- You get 10% off digital purchases.
D-Du you can always get retail games at a discount. This isn't some deal. You can't trade-in. That is a win for EA, not the consumer.
Unless you like digital, 10% isn't really a great thing. You'll most likely be able to find a better deal for a physical game. Plus, you can't sell them.
To me this deal is really only worthwhile if you don't mind waiting a year to play each game. Still we don't even know if those will be full-featured.
Funny that a 4.5 month old game is still the number one seller.
I thought Xbox had so many more great games than PS4?
If you're big on Madden/FIFA... Are you really going to wait a year for a game to become free?
Maybe there isn't a shortage of ideas, but they clearly aren't implementing any good ones.
I doubt someone really got another store to price match as the article states.
3D still sucks. But, I am laughing that all the Xbone fanboys were bragging about getting 3D first.
9 random users on the internet are dissatisfied with something. Mostly because an insider said something that didn't come true within 48 hours. Let's make an article about it.
So Sony (or any company for that matter) is supposed to spill their internal information simply because some insider supposedly leaked info?
I made this comment about Xbone getting 3D and received all kinds of disagrees.
But, I agree with you. I never liked 3D (headaches and it was blurry). Aside from my personal dislike, 3D peaked in 2011 due to Avatar. They are now making about the same amount of movies in 3D as they did in 2009.
No. 3d is stupid. I'm just making fun of MS for being 4 years late.
Well I'm glad this 1 opinion puts the debate to rest. I'm gonna go back to my 480p 65" big screen since resolution doesn't matter.
Bungie is still deciding on that. No decision yet.
The 3D fad peaked 3 years ago. Congratulations MS for finally supporting it.
I hope Sony doesn't waste time on it.
Xbox loses money for MS overall, so your argument about Sony copying them in order to profit... doesn't make sense.
