Reviewers are idiots in my opinion.
For instance, check out these 2 reviews from a single site GameCritics.com
Titanfall - scored 85 on Metacritic by these guys

Destiny - scored 45 on metacritic by these guys

@Elwenil
I honestly simply do not understand this argument about doing things over and over.
I know this isn't an MMO by Bungie's definition, but since everyone else thinks it is. That is what an MMO is. You repeat shit every day/week.
What about any other FPS? You repeat shit every day/weak.
At least Destiny is giving us new things to do each week so far (yes, I know it has only been 2 weeks). You can't say t...
Yes, you need Live Gold or PS Plus to play it unfortunately.
Where did I say it had a great story?
I just said most other FPS games don't have some great story. So, I don't get why it is a requirement all of a sudden.
Thank him for rating the game purely on an extremely limited beta?
That is the stupid shit that is giving this game a bad rep.
You can play the story all alone. You can continue playing alone and gear up with legendaries alone if you want as well, but that is just by grinding mobs. You can repeat the story missions on harder difficulties.
But if you don't like playing with others at all, you'll be missing out on strikes, raids and pvp.
One thing I do agree with is the social element of the game. I understand Bungie says it isn't an MMO.
They have this clan/group system, which really doesn't do much in game. You can't do weekly heroics (strike and story) without forming a fireteam first.
I'm an adult and I don't have hundreds of PSN friends. So, I joined a popular clan.... but that doesn't do shit in game really.
They either need matchmaking or som...
I've played this game more than any other in the first 2 weeks of release.
All I hear about is no story. I still don't know when story being some major part of some first person shooter.
I'm sure they've read all the Grimoire cards which provide tons of back story. More so than any NEW FPS has ever had.
I think people are comparing it to games that have had multiple releases, and a story built up over time.
...
I agree it is a joke, but because it is TOO EASY to get legendaries.
I literally sat shooting at mobs in the cave on Earth for a couple hours straight. I got multiple legendaries from this.
You shouldn't be able to get level 20 drops from level 6 mobs.
You've played this game 150+ hours in 13 days? Are you okay?
Where does it show time played anyway?
They've brought down PSN and Live. Bungie has no control over that, what does $500 million have to do with anything?
Since when has a great story been standard for FPS? Nearly everyone FPS that comes out nowadays doesn't have some great story.
This was a temporary thing caused by a bunch of stupid kids. Blame them, not the developer.
Also stop bringing up Diablo 3. There weren't any issues after week one.
I asked in another thread, but never got a response. I only played Halo: Combat Evolved a bit on a friend's system long ago.
I don't recall that game (and I'm not talking about the whole series) have some epic storyline.
And how was Halo not a grind? You beat the game. You beat it on a harder difficulty. Repeat. Repeat. All while earning nothing.
Had PSN/Destiny issues. Changed DNS servers, fixed issue.
Now we have to hear about these *hackers* (insert laugh) for a few days.
Hmmm. Do I believe the PS4 only sold about 55k more consoles and only 200k more copies of Destiny?
"the only thing it does NOT have is thousands of people running around you at all times that you can see but they ARE there"
This is exactly why it isn't an MMO. If you can't interact with everyone, it isn't "massively multiplayer".
Diablo 3 has thousands of player playing online at the same time, are you saying that is an MMO? No, it isn't.
Tons of games have thousands of people playing online at the sam...
When I said "I'm not talking about the whole story. " I meant the whole story spanning all the games.
Why can't I edit my damn comment?
More like.... why is there an article about this?
Of course new games will come out.
Of course the Xbox rep is going to say customers like it.
@Schnooze
Who gets to decide "what it wanted to do"?
Even with that said, I still don't agree with you.
Titanfall set to be an extremely limited PVP game. Yes, it accomplished that. So, it deserves a good score? If that game cost $20, then I could see your point.
