Geoff Knightley said that on Twitter as well and MS's Aaron Greenburg flat out denied it.
There's no reason to believe it is timed.
Greenburg flat out denies it is holiday exclusive.... yet you guys keep arguing that it is?
At what point did they say it was timed? No where.
I'm only saying right now we have absolutely no reason to believe that it is timed.
SE is a large company, they don't need MS to be the publisher. That doesn't mean there isn't a fully exclusive agreement between MS and SE.

"Dear Tomb Raider Community,
As you may have seen, we’ve just announced that Rise of the Tomb Raider, coming Holiday 2015, is exclusively on Xbox. We consider all of you to be the lifeblood of Tomb Ra...
Stop saying it is a timed exclusive. There's no reason to believe that. Just because they mentioned the release date in the same sentence as the exclusivity, doesn't mean it is timed exclusive.
Not mad at MS for this. It is the first thing I'm personally jealous of that I can't get on PS4 or PC.
I am mad at SE. I hope the sales are dismal.
If they are going to use precise term "birth mother", then yes it does exactly mean where it was born.
Yes PS made it popular, but it wasn't where it started.
Stop with the stupid cash grab logic.
If someone buys it, either A they never played it before or B they bought it before and really fucking liked it.
It is your choice.
Are you insane?
Really? If I already own the games.... I should buy the new ones just because they made them?
What's the logic in that?
MS is making money.
Xbox division is losing money.
The xbox has never ever been a profit for MS in its whole history. It is a huge loss.
I'm not even sure why they are so set on making it work.
Not that I agree with your question.
But you can't just spit out beautiful games. Games take years to develop, especially the worthy ones.
The complaints are getting tiresome.
Like others have said. Don't like it, don't buy it.
If this generates profit for them, they will continue to do it.
They don't care if you think it is a waste of time. They run a business. If it is profitable, why wouldn't they do it?
It is quite funny. The had one decent month, in which they we're still crushed by Sony.
That included all the people who held out for the low price and they still couldn't win.
For the casual who already played the game, it isn't going to be worth it.
For anyone who has never played it or is a fanatic, it will be worth it. Or maybe you never played the DLC, it could be worth it (especially if you can trade-in).
That is quite the difference.
@VP37,
Why would Sony mention that Destiny will be on Xbox? They aren't going to give MS free advertisement.
They never said Destiny was exclusive.
Not mentioning the other company isn't the same thing as saying it is exclusive.
