It is still supposed to be 1080p on PS4. They haven't said otherwise.
Agree with everyone. Any good beta test related to online games should always have an open beta to test the servers.
What are you talking about? Your point (Destiny has a smaller install base) was part of my whole point.
The facts are:
#1: Halo 3 and Halo Reach combined sold more copies than Destiny.
#2: More people are actively playing Destiny after 1 month than Halo 3 and Halo Reach combined.
Conclusion: Even with a smaller install base, more people are playing it actively.
That is the point. People bitching left and right about this ...
To you idiots who keep saying this is multiplatform, so it isn't comparable.
Destiny - $325 million in sales in first 5 days
Halo 3 - $170 million in just the first day
Halo Reach - $200 million in just the first day
So, Halo 3 and Halo Reach had more sales in the first day combined than Destiny had in 5 days.
So, it is definitely comparable.
I'd say whichever movie you liked more. Hobbit only covers first 2 movies, with no announcement for third, whether it will be DLC or a new game.
Destiny has more content than any other FPS has ever had on release.
They should have canned a game just because it had server issues in first week?
Whiny gamers. Think the world owes them everything.
What a dumb article. Exclusives are really the only thing that separate the systems.
Quite frankly, if MS didn't have exclusives... there wouldn't be a reason to choose the Xbone over the PS4 other than pure love for MS.
Would you idiots stop saying that Xbone and PS4 have the exact same CPU, but that Xbone's is clocked higher, so that means it is better.
They don't have the same CPU. They both have their own customized version of the Jaguar architecture. That doesn't mean they are customized the same.
Just because Xbone has a higher clockspeed, doesn't mean it is a better CPU.
Benchmarks have shown that the PS4 CPU beats Xbone's.
Not a PVP person myself, but I understand that Bungie is still trying to level the playing field a little bit. Maybe they are doing it too much.
They are trying to allow everyone to play together regardless of level. In regular Crucible everything was mostly normalized.
With Iron Banner there are still adjustments so that level 4 players have a chance against level 29. Maybe the adjustments are too much.
So when PS4 gets games that Xbone doesn't because of the clause... that doesn't make them feel second best?
Wouldn't be that pick of a change. You still need to go to these areas to get crafting materials, bounties and public events.
Not sure why they haven't just made it so that the item drops are equivalent to the enemy level. You shouldn't be able to get level 20 gear off level 1 mobs.
You fail.
You will be getting 11 new tracks with 23 routes, which includes an entirely new location 9 additional cars over the next 15 months or so as well.
ABSOLUTELY FREE
@starchild
"They flat out state that they did not artificially hold back one platform and you say you don't believe them just because one of their employees had made an offhanded comment that leads you to believe otherwise?"
So,
- Developer makes statement.
- Everyone gets pissed.
- Ubisoft tries to cover their ass and say the developer was misunderstood.
- There wasn't anything to be misunderstood.
...
The official specs of the PS4 CPU are not known. The 1.6ghz is just an estimation. Additionally these chips have custom architecture. So, even if the 1.6 is official... that doesn't mean it is worse.
As I have said, CPU benchmarks have shown that the PS4 CPU > Xbone CPU. So, you have no reason to believe the PS4 CPU is the reason for this whole parity thing.
Aside from what I said before. Never has an Xbox game outdone a PS4 game.
Let me just kill your only argument, that since they mentioned the CPU... that means they gimped the Xbox One.
Benchmarks have shown that the PS4 CPU is better than the Xbone's.
So, now you have no argument. There is no reason to believe they gimped the Xbox one. There are several reasons to believe they gimped the PS4.
Plus most PC gamers don't have rigs that can run games at 60fps.
