Im not trying to defend MS. Yes, they are selling horribly.
But you're saying Sony is going to sell 7 million in 8 weeks and MS is gonna sell 700k.

MS isn't sweating? Considering they've done a complete 180 of policies to turn the tide. $150 price drop plus free bundled game (sometimes 2) in last 6 months.
They tried to control used games. They tried to muscle indie companies around.

MS is shooting their load last 3 months of this year. They may win that battle. They're also trying to make everyone forgot the first 9 months. Titanfall was a failure. Their price drops have failed.

Ps3 had a more powerful system, Blu-ray and better exclusives. MS gave up on 360 several years ago. That is how Sony caught up.
Xbone has no advantages over PS4, so nothing is going to turn the tide.
We don't know that for sure. If they pay the devs by the download, then it wouldn't be more really. It could be less.
Right now we download up to like 6 games a month.
If they offered 12, but we only got to choose 3... I don't see why it would cost them more.
I think they should offer more games, but you can only choose maybe 1 or 2. Just gives more diversity and less "I already have those." complaints.

Why would we want to trade a game that came with a system? Maybe because most people play a particular game for only a few weeks or months. Maybe they just wanted the white system.
I normally sell all my games within a few weeks. I'm not a big MP person, so once I beat a game I usually sell it immediately while it is still worth a good amount.
