Went back to traditional controller? The system doesn't even come with a controller, just a game pad. Surely anything but traditional.
The remotes you buy separately are the exact same as their last gen.
A couple exclusives games otherwise doesn't prove anything about hardcore.
Wii U is for hardcore gamers? Not sure how you can say that. Lack of third party means you're missing out on a lot.

DriveClub works fine for most people as well. Doesn't mean there aren't major issues.

Last gen nearly all third party games were nearly the same, with small differences in 360s favor. How Sony killed MS graphically with first party showing the true power difference.

@Harold_Finch: Yes, I think this is much bigger. Halo is Microsoft's biggest game ever. MCC is something that MS has been pushing since Day 1. It is one of 3 exclusives that they have been trying to boost their holiday sales with and have been bragging about.

Sony did blow MS out of the water last year with first party graphics. You won't ever see the difference with third party

3.94 games per Xbone
Xbone has a slight lead based on this.
Keep in mind that VGChartz doesn't track digital sales. PS4 has 104 digital games (75 which are exclusive) and Xbone only has 4...

I have a damn Wii U. It does not come with what most would consider a normal controller. It only comes with a game pad controller, which is far from normal as it gets for a console.
If the majority of their major titles are their first party games, how is that not for their core gamers?
If you want to play Nintendo first party games, you get one. If you don't want that, you get a PS4 or Xbone.
