Im surprised they didnt use modern nvidia gpus and a new cell cpu. As from what I understand it is the cell processor that caused the programing headaches. Keep the cell architecture, upgrade the rest.. cant be much of a programing challenge after that.
As for emulating the cell cpu, that probably wont be for a few more years. I dont see cpu's having advanced enough since it's release.

It has got to be well under 1 mega byte per second, 5 mega bits per second = 600k, .61. Onlive has been recommending 600k for 720p for years, and gaikai did aslo. I really wish people would distinguish what they are saying. 5 mega bytes although may look and play great, would be a stupid move and major fail.

bummnut, agree. These screen shots on ps4 probably are not a good representation, but there still is much missing on the ps4. I have the PS4, and I really do not understand why a 7870 gpu cannot offer the same unless they are trying to run it at a silly 60fps again. 20-40fps is just fine.

I had this issue last night. They asked for my personal info and password secret, then emailed me a valid code to use on the PS4. Went very smoothly, except during all of this I was charged full price for the ps4 game without my authorization. Supposably I will recieve a refund in 2-4 weeks, but I have my doubts. Bitchy rep. Also today my bank calls and said that my card was blocked for this same unauthorized transaction.

my experience with the game is mostly negative with the corrupted files during single player, that and single play being a bit lame. They should of did what Arma did, and released slowly with an explanation as to why. The game already is the most discounted with sales so no biggie if was incomplete.
I am at level 38 now, and I havent seen any game breaking issues on the ps4. But the single player crashing, and corrupting the game save progress 4x has made it that I no longer desire to experience the campaign.
a 3DS emu would do wonders and price wars.
