by boring you must mean (not) game breaking, tbh this game has been as good as MW2. The single player was good enough, and multiplayer is great unlike the previous title/s.

As for theradbrad, I get how he might be receiving drama from youtube and publishers. His videos are complete walkthroughs.
If he would offer just walkthroughs to challenging parts, that would be more fair. But as is, someone could just go to his channel and watch the entire game, and feel no desire to actually play it apart from multiplayer. I intend to do this with BF4 as my games have become corrupted 4x now.
making $$ on youtube requires a unique niche, strong talent and alot of work. It is not easy, and the money they make is well deserved.

can nintendo stop expecting a profit from hardware sales? they gimped the gpu and ram, and now are paying the price. Their only shot is to keep the gamepad, and take a sales loss. And deliver games, which will have to be first party due to the fact that it has under powered hardware.

It is an incomplete multimedia device, (camera would help) but it is a great gaming system. Considering it cost 20$ to make the camera and 381$ to make the system, there really was no good reason to exclude it.
Features and price make sales much more than a few exclusives. And the difference with steam is that the 65 million userbase does not change. It is mostly constant. *You dont need to upgrade your hardware, there is plenty you can run w/o.
The problem with the Wii U is the games, there aren't any. And the reason for that is mostly to do with bad hardware. Perhaps in the near future when mobile passes up old gen hardware we will see more titles on the Wii U? Sad, and probably true.
I'd never underestimate Apple, but yes currently it is all STEAM.
