If the games run on at least "high" settings, and at a resolution of 1080p.. (no tricks) then that is a HUGE improvement!

competition is good, it is better for open systems. If MS were to open each game to the PC and Xbone, then that would be great.

Competition w/ closed systems not as good. But they "can" offer exclusives, unfortunately they dont always offer any competitive discounts.

lying? "They blink less than normal during the lie, and then have a flurry up to eight times faster than usual afterwards."

I believed him, but we do know that you can do less latency demanding tasks over cloud, atmospheric affects, fog, lighting etc.. All these things would take demand off the gpu, so that there may be more resources available to "improve" graphics. Thats my explanation, but gosh darnit, it sure looked like he was l...

Probably wont matter much for about 3 years! Unless, they are trying to run the new Unreal Engine 4 to some equivalent level with PC gaming, in that scenario the PS4 clearly wins. "Year One"

U can build a decent pc for 6-700, u buy games onsale for $1-15, (steam) and you can buy brand new/pre-order games for 25.99+

Yes, cd key sites are legit, and work great. But you have to educate yourself what regions work or dont.

So maybe 10-50 games a year cost 200.oo Ill agree the ps+ is pretty awesome for $40 a year. Wouldnt count on many full ps4 titles though.

Id only give PC video card 3-4 years tops.

@destaru

the shield is a great piece of hardware, no doubt. Honestly it should cost 200.00 :) Thats the sweet spot, and u can get fairly new used psp vitas for 170+. Problem w/ the shield is its android, yes it will have an awesome library, but of those games theres not many that will use the hardware. The psp vita has sony backing it, and their studios, etc dedicated to using that hardware, and releasing "real" games. I could see shield becoming very popular in 2 y...

so hurry and trade in your pos x360 before it drops half in value? oh, ok.

titanfall, dead rising. Both probably timed exclusives, if your patent. So theres 1/2 a reason.

i believe the ps3 also had supply issues, it was sold out. But, the Wii was a sensation, Xbox did not have the hype of the wii when it was released.

I dont see how this is better, given that devs. have learned how to program already with edram on the 360 its not far behind. Ill agree that it will make it easier for pc f2p titles to transfer over.

I have not yet seen how the 176gb will be accessed given that the hard drive could go on average 100-140mb/s. Unless they create a ramdisk with some of the extra memory. I really dont know how either (ps4/x1) is any better) when you have to solve how to get all that data moving o...

fact, xbox 360 was maxed out w/ gears of war numero uno! ps3 was maxed out with uncharted 2, and both were a disapointment back in 2006 when neither could run the first true last gen title.. Crysis PC! Spec's do matter! If sony had included more ram, and considered true next gen gpu "8800" then the system would still be a beast!

And last the cloud gaming circus is a tech that can be experienced between all platforms. MS may do it first, but they wont be last. I...

i was at gamestop today, asked about transfering my ps4 preorder to the store nearest to my house. And she said to wait as she went back to see if they had enough day one ps4's! whoa, say what!

Should of sold the PS4 at 429.99 w/ the PSEye. I'd say at most that's a $15 loss on the camera, hardware parts will get cheaper over time and dev. support would be a guarantee. Perhaps a 1/2 bundle day one deal, or free PS+ with it?

all of em look like arcade/indie or small studio games priced at $50.00

this will help amd a great deal in the years to come. Nvidia has always had the edge w/ developer and driver support. Runs better on geforce not because the hardware is any better, the market is best adapted, cant think of the word.. adapted for the higher install base which is/was nvidia.

how is it that she looks like she belongs or behaves in highschool, or jr high? She doesnt! get over yourself, jeez. She at the very least looks like a teenage adult. Not the character naughty dog created.

it is 3,000 servers not 300k. twitch does not (>) ustream, if anything they are equals. Only ustream is targeted more for a broader audience. Cloud gaming only useful when the internet is active and fast. The ps4 has roughly 35% more power over the xbox, and comparing 700 shaders vs 1100 or whatever it is in PC perspective.. is a huge advantage! Considering that the hardware on pc flourishes around 1k+ shaders and console nextgen hardware is pc hardware, sony wins. Cloud gaming does not ne...

its just odd that they would not ship the camera with the system when the controller will have this useless light on it leaving every1 thinking wtf!?

your pricing is flawed, the price of a gpu wafer at wholesale is significantly less, and even more so when you have the rights to the tech for manufacturing.
