6.99 maybe, (w/ monthly free games that expire each month.., needs something extra.) but $15.00 no ty. This is the exact same problem when the service first started in beta.
seems like you would just use the vita's remote play app when released, plus that would be way too much lag. An extra 100% input lag.
this could have been summed up in a paragraph, waste of time.
this is very odd considering that the jaguar is a nerfed version of the chip, if xgen consoles can run on that.. this should be a non issue.
pretty sure that there is a review embargo date, not if you have a retail early disc.
Id buy it on PC, not going to get an X1 plus Sub. for this game. I might get an X1 w/ no sub. requirement, but the two is too much.
(PS4 is my primary.)
Thunderbolt ports could have enabled many features on existing hardware, gpu upgrades, backwards compatibility, daisy chain any number of devices, as if it were integrated.
MS Would be wise to buyout CastAR. I'm not certain how good their VR is compared to Oc, or Morph.. but I hear it is good enough, and the addition of AR, and comfort makes it a very attractive option.
dont really look stunning at all
If they changed the kinnect version w/ free game to 449.99, that would probably sell better. Curious to see what sony will do next, free camera bundle? Free game, or coupon..
It is a demo. With more attraction to pay less for less, and them winning more revenue % (no retailer) through digital transactions.
For a PS+ title, should at least have 3 locations. imo. Heck, for it to be a good "demo" it should have more than 1 location.
it has got a big enough heatsink!, its just a shame the esram had to use up so much die space.
PS4 is arguably not powerful enough to do VR at a near 2x 1080p resolution. This simply will not happen on the X1 unless there is a huge leap in how game engine design works, offering much less processing power demand.
enough with the tweet news, ugh.
easy, no fair collective of talent or budget.
All they really needed was (2) strong Kinnect titles on launch day, unfortunately that did not happen. The only thing enticing was the fitness app, which is mediocre at best. The best thing going for the camera was Sports Rivals, which all the reviews now suggest that it is awful. I kind of wonder if MS had originally planned for the AMD Kaveri 2.0 chip w/ DDR4 Ram, (2014/15) and what we have was a worst case scenario of Sony launching early.
To rephrase, in 2 years time (from launch games) the quality will be 2x better. Well, duh! That is 2 flippin years to get API and Game code up to par with the new hardware. Both Sony, Nintendo, will be in the same boat. This is not secret sauce, unless you are counting PC x86 gaming which was left behind for years with un-unified hardware dominating the past.
PDZ was completely an Xbox Original game, on an old junk engine, with little to no optimizations for the 360. Farcry Instincts was another one, both laughable. Bad comparison.
Emulating Power PC at 3ghz is the issue.
"There are. But we aren’t done thinking them through yet unfortunately. It turns out to be hard to emulate the PowerPC stuff on the x86 stuff. So there’s nothing to announce, but I’d love to see it myself too."
It is more likely that they are working on a conversion tool, to get games to work on x86. Like what you find on the Unity engine, but I highly doubt you will ever get to play your old games off of the...
With the kinnect, microsoft has an opportunity to sell the system at a loss to potentially offer a better value. excluding games. What was it 80$ to produce the kinect? Big deal. Sell it at a loss, and you have an argument for equal value, and maybe some give. Had MS matched ps plus sooner, offered the kinnect at the same price, then I might be on the Xbone scene. *Kinect can be fantastic with the right games.
The 720p vs 1080p difference is a deal breaker, but in the long ru...
