I live in Chicago myself and I'm also glad to see the city be in more games nowadays. First in Hitman, then Watchdogs, now Splinter Cell. Also Saint's Row 3's city was a resemblance of Chicago. Before all that there was the dark and gritty Chicago level in Perfect Dark. It's a great location to experience, no one's safe in Chicago when you're Sam Fisher. ;)
lol It got banned last week for "rewarding players for using virtual drugs." Well, guess what, the world isn't pretty and never was. They need to stop trying to baby sit grown people that already know the consequences of using drugs and other mature subjects. Are their school books filled with rainbows and unicorns? They're smart enough to understand what and when wrong is wrong, that's why there's no proof that video games make you lose self control and go insane. H...

Sony did something similar splitting their entertainment and electronic divisions. The reason is because their electronic division (televisions, mp3 players, etc) was holding the entertainment division back. (Playstation, movies, music, etc) Any positive change is welcomed, people just don't like it when a company fails to deliv...
GDDR5 is a quad core while GDDR3 has only 2 cores. This means that the PS4's memory reading power is double of the Xbox One's. And you're wrong about how the GPU is the only thing that matters. With a higher bandwidth, the PS4 will be able to run games at higher frames per second using the GPU's full power better than the Xbox One. It's what some developers have been talking about for a while. If Xbox One wants to run games at 60 frames, they have to tweak it, decrease gra...

The link provides the official PS4 faq sheet from Sony with everything you need to know about the specs. PS4 has 18 computing units compared to the Xbox One's 12. GDDR5 speed is 176gb/sec while Xbox One's GDDR3's speed is 68gb/sec. Yea, believe it. lol
First person shooters are great when the developers give it innovation and creative thought. I think Call of Duty ruined it for a many on what a FPS really is. People who play CoD makes them believe they're all the same, just shoot and move, shoot and move. But there are games that you need to use your head to be tactical and get around like Rainbow Six and Battlefield. Then there's creative first person shooters like Bioshock and Dues Ex that are very story oriented and fun. I think ...
I think they should make the first 60 levels free to play with the same restrictions of the trial and if you want more, they have the option to upgrade and pay $15 a month for the full experience. Trust me, when I first played this back in 09, the game was very addicting and fun. So if they did this, it can improve player count by vast amounts and I know they'll be willing to upgrade once they reach the cap. Free to play accounts can only chat in a party or raid to prevent gold for real m...
@dantesparda
That's what I meant, thanks for the correction. :) Forgot high quality means 480p.
There's also a good feeling of buying a game from the store, getting back home, popping it into your console of choice then start playing it. Like all that time getting back home to play the game feels somehow rewarding. And owning the physical copy feels like a trophy added to your other games so you can see it when you're taking out a different game. Also keeping them makes you feel like a collector, that someday these physical copies will be worth a lot of money and makes you feel ...
You're completely right, just because tablets can run a game similar to the consoles/PC version doesn't mean they have to give those games extra points. If it's a great game, then it's a great game, no need to compare it to something else. Especially something with better specs, like, "I'm going to give this a 9 but since the gameplay runs almost as good as the console versions, let's give it a 10." A lot of popular gaming magazines and Youtube reviewers try ...
There is high quality but I believe the resolution is automatic according to your internet speed. Now what I wish is a way to switch the quality because on mine it buffers a lot but knows it can load high quality videos perfectly at times. But I read from YouTube that right now it's not possible to change video quality because the app just mirrors the video from their site.
Usher songs confirmed. lol
This is a great way to experience and know what Metal Gear Solid is all about for the new people that were amazed by the new game's trailer or only played 4 on the PS3. With the high quality of characters, stories, and so much attention to detail...this collection is always worth it. :)
If Sony currently is allowing 2 people to share content, even free Playstation Plus games on PS3 then I think this feature will allow two PS4s to access one library at one time. It might not be as much as 10 people, even 5, (still don't know yet) but 2 being the max can still be something good. It would allow you and a best friend to enjoy the newest DLC by just one of you buying it. This will improve digital downloads by a large margin. And you know developers benefit a lot from digital ...
This is a good idea, helps students learn from actual experience by making a game and posting it up in the store. And once they graduate, they can start creating their own little studios and take everything they learned from the PS4 Dev Kit, making even more better games.
With so much indie developer support now, every gamer will now have the choice of many different gems. I hope this is the console that will start new franchises and help them grow just like the PS1 and PS2 helped create many incredible games that we still know today.
Of course, PC will be better due to upgradeable specs but it's still amazing what next gen consoles will be able to do from what we have now. Be thankful that us console gamers will be able to experience 64 player mayhem now, it what we mostly wanted. And hopes that someday the numbers double, improvements in gameplay are always good, no matter what.
The thing is that they didn't know that it would slightly raise prices. Microsoft could of made it clear that if they do this, prices will raise by a small percentage and try to keep it how it was. It's still a beta, they can still turn it back but since they already announced the change...I doubt it will happen. Whichever one they go for, they will get some backlash. Either be considered liars or thieves. Like I said, they should of explained it, but knowing Microsoft more now, even ...
lol You were still going to get an Xbox One after all the bs last month? Yea, it's people like you that makes Microsoft do whatever they feel like, just accept everything they do.
@Dobgamers
Can you link us a video of a game using cloud computing that shows us all those things happen at once? Why are you saying we can't deny that when there's no proof something like that is possible with no drawbacks. It could come out less impressive than Microsoft is making it out to be, that's why they barely showed anything of it at E3.
