Did anyone even read the article? They talk about how a few years from now, developers will find different, better, and easier ways to develop games for the PS4. How the architecture is more flexible than the PC's. Meaning that there will be multiple ways to create a game, no developer will need to follow one line. That's the thing about what makes it unique, maybe the most developer friendly architecture currently and in a couple of years, the growth will be very noticeable.

Good to see developers use the power of the PS4 at launch, which is different than the PS3's launch and for many years. That easy to develop architecture is really paying off combined with the PS4s strong GPU and GDDR5 RAM. And according to Mark Cerny, there are going to be easier and better ways of developing games in the coming years. Which makes developer's jobs much less frustrating.
