For all intents and purposes it is a sequel. You can't look at Demon's Souls and this game and say they aren't remarkably similar.
Well, it's not quite a night and day difference. But I'll still be buying it because I never played Ico when I had my ps2, and SotC will be worth playing through again.
Looking forward to this, looks like a great sequel.

They've made some great games, I'm not sure what you're going on about really. Yes their games have bugs because the scope of their games are huge, but they are still fantastic rpgs.
Find me another rpg like Morrowind or Oblivion, or any of the other Elder Scrolls games. You won't be able to.

I'll find myself a new hobby. I'll make things out of wood or something, anything that doesn't allow other people to control how I buy something.
I've been looking for a game that surpasses Elite, a game that began on the 8-bit computers. There's been Freespace, the X series, Freelancer and so on, but nothing has gave me the epic feeling of being in space that Elite did.
I don't think there is a single game that was made in those days that was so ahead of its time that even now, in 2011, has yet to be outdone.
I'm not really surprised that it hasn't been something that has taken off...
