And console gamers don't get the games pcs do. What's your point?
'but a great game stays great forever. '
Like Doom.
Put your hands over your ears and go "La la la, I can't hear you!"
I loved XP because (eventually) they sorted it out and it worked well and was robust. It was all pc gamers needed, And then Vista came out it wasn't worth upgrading to at all.
But Windows 7 is the new XP, it is solid and I don't miss XP at all now. Can't see why you would think it was a disappointment, you don't give much reason.
It's one of my favourite games of the year. There's a lot of people who dismiss it because it wasn't as good as the first in some respects. But you have to take it for it is, a bloody good shooter.
Good review.
Lol, how could I have got that wrong, ha ha :P
*slaps self*
I got the Red Dead expansion on PSN, the Undead one, for £7.99 the other week. Now that was going for the £18 mark around most high street places, so that was a bargain. Bare in mind though that you didn't need to own the original to play the retail copy, whereas you did for the download version.
There are bargains sometimes, but you don't see Steam style bargains on console networks, which is where I think it needs to change before it can be taken seriously...
It's great buying a game for your psp then having it release on your console a bit later. Fantastic thinking behind these decisions.
It's not about money, it's about choice. They're letting you decide whether to buy it now or wait for an HD remake.
The only thing is you need to see the future to make that decision. A talent I haven't achieved yet.
Maybe there's a trophy for that?
How many more of these crappy articles do we need?
EDIT:@FatOldMan
True.
Yeah, only snag is you'll have to pay full price. Whereas with retail you'll probably find it cheaper.
Not always the case, but mostly true.
Well that's very interesting Thom. Thanks for letting us in on your purchasing decisions.
That's gave me a lot to think about.
As much as I'd like to say you're wrong, I think the same. Bioware used to be pretty much a guarantee that it was going to be an excellent rpg. Now I'm not so sure. I loved ME2, but DA2 was, quite frankly, terrible. A big letdown.
They've let themselves go since their BG/SWKOTR/NWN days. Now it's all about the action.
Lol, Frosty and his forum made a boo boo.
I actually think it's going to be a great handheld and I'll be buying one. But my previous comment stands.
I've actually started using my Move again playing Deadspace Extraction. I already completed the game on my pc, but I saw it going cheap and decided to grab it.
Enjoying it a lot so far, there really needs to be more games available though. I'll be using it again with Resistance 3, but it really needs more support.
Lol at Sony fanbois, when they talk about pc gamers talking about specs and being elitist. Come any topic concerning Sony and technical details and they start drooling and going on about how it's the the most powerful thing ever :P
That's Kevin Keegan isn't it?
Sorry if my humour wasn't to your taste, I guess you're hard to please. I didn't see anything about it not including taxes on the US end, why do they show prices for European countries with tax taken into account and not for the US market?
EDIT:@Apocwhen
Ah thanks, I see. That sounds like a very complicated setup. Each state is pretty much like another country then in some respects?
Um..I meant it could be one of the best rpgs on ANY format, not just the Wii. There's a hell of a lot of praise for the game, I can't wait to get it.
This has been used in pc MP games for years. I can't see why it isn't a standard feature with console MP games.
