Yeah, I heard the same sort of argument when the psp was released. It was more powerful, and had more mature games, it could do this and that and the other.
Which one sold more out of the psp and the ds, even though one was more powerful than the other?
@Son_Lee
Why should we give a shit about your opinion on the game when you don't even know what Syndicate is? The game was made when you were probably swimming around in your fathers testicles.
Go educate yourself, and then come back and discuss the game.
EDIT:@Godmars290
I agree, it's not the direction I would like to see the series go in, and alarm bells are ringing.
I don't agree with Son_Lee ...
Don't you dare ruin Syndicate!
*waves finger*
@pain777pas
Robin: Holy wall of text Batman!!
Batman: Yes Robin, he has yet to learn and master the art of using paragraphs and good punctuation. Cover your eyes, looking at that crap could give you a brain hemorrhage.
'Also, how fun is it to play a game where you just point and click on what you want to shoot... that doesn't take much skill if you think about it. '
What, it takes more skill to push a thumbstick? All it does is slow down your viewing movement. Try playing a few mp games on pc like CS or Starcraft and see how much skill you need with your mouse control to beat the other players.
5 things I've never seen while being a pc gamer. Your reasons are even worse than this forum post...I mean 'article'.
'Most PS3 games don't need to be installed'
Are you joking?
What a terribly written blog. If you are going to have a go at journalism, at least make sure you don't type like a monkey.
Why not? Sony did it with the Move didn't they?
EDIT: Then I guess they still play the same game but with slightly different controls. You know, like ps3 gamers do when a game has Move controls added but they don't have one.
I doubt it, they are going to sell more, why should they be scared?
It was even better on pc.
EDIT:And it was much better to play on pc. Simple as that.
EDIT:I didn't say it was bad, I said it was better on pc. What part of that are you not getting?
EDIT:It was better though wasn't it? Graphics or not, it was better. I don't know why you can't just admit it instead of saying 'The PC version better in regards to visuals, but other than that the PS3 version was fine.'
Ps...
All games that are playable on pc should be played on pc. I wish all games were playable on pc. Bye bye framerate issues, hello better visuals.
That's the only reason I own consoles. I've got a machine more powerful that could play the games better, but some games are only released on my consoles. Shame really as they would potentially be far better on pc.
Ho hum.
Have you heard about the money troubles the world has been having? It may not have been in your local news, but people haven't got as much money as they did before. So they can't spend as much.
But they did buy the 3ds more than anything else.
Another release to add to my collection this month :)
Looking forward to playing Ico, not that I won't be enjoying SotC but I've never played Ico before.
Thing is Relic excel in rts games, this is a completely different genre for them. I'll check out a few more reviews before I think about buying it, or I may well just wait for a steam sale. I'm interested, but not enough at the moment.
Julian Rignall? I remember him from CVG back in the early 90's, long time since I've seen any of his reviews.
I couldn't narrow it down to just three, I really couldn't, there's too many games I want that all seem deserving of my cash. These three are on my wanted list, but there's also Skyrim, Rage, BF3, The Ico/SotC Remakes, Skyward Sword, AC Revelations, etc.
This is one of the best years for gaming in ages, so many great games this year.
'Bethesda's previous games look like Shi*.'
They didn't at the time, at the time they were cutting edge. The years go by and people forget, but they were very good looking games when they were released.
Oblivion was the 'Crysis' of its day when benchmarking pcs and components, Morrowind also.
I can't say I had any of the problems you did. Maybe you're just not a very good gamer, lacking some of the skill needed to play the game well, and also the augment that shows you their fields of view.
I agree about the bosses, but they don't spoil the game that much.
And you also don't need to use caps to try and get your point across either.
Dead Island is excellent, Resistance 3 is also good. I'm getting a backlog now though, I've got a fair amount of games to play, too many really.
