'...and near-real graphics on the PS3 has brought graphics for consoles close to photo-realistic . '
Lol.
Yeah exactly. Although books describe locations and characters and so on, it is reliant on the readers imagination. And because everyone is different their take on any particular book will be different to anyone elses, which is what makes a good book unbeatable in storytelling power.
I think games have the edge over films in some ways, especially when a game has multiple ways you can complete it which gives variation to how one persons story will be compared to another person...
Well no, books are imo. But we're getting there slowly but surely.
Notice the pc version is cheaper. Yep, that's right, we don't pay as much even though it's the superior version.
Pc gaming is where it's at and no mistake.
Wow. That's really exciting.
Don't mention his name, otherwise he might make a comeback.
And we don't want that.
Exactly, when it becomes affordable then I will probably make the switch. Until then my trusty 46" will have to do. Our setup at the moment works perfectly, and from what I've seen of the 3d technology, it is not enough to make me want one that badly.
I really don't feel like I'm missing out on much.
'Also 3/4 of all SAS members legally HAVE to be Scottish. '
Where did you hear this?
So you're going to pirate the superior version, while paying for the inferior one.
Well, that makes sense :S
True, Crysis sold over 3 million copies even though it was one of the most pirated games.
This is for people who haven't got it yet obviously. If they buy this, then they don't have to pay out for anything else. It's the last flip of the coin for the game for Rockstar, and I don't begrudge them selling it like this, they are running a business after all.
It's a great game, well worth the money for what you get with this release, and if anyone hasn't got it by now then this is your chance.
EDIT:@Blaine
Well...
What, like they did with the psp go?
They've got by before, I'm sure they'll get by now.
Obviously. I was willing to take a punt for £10.
I bought the game second-hand, and if I hadn't got it cheaper (it cost me £10) I doubt I would have bought it at all. I buy a lot of games new that I really want, but this was not one of them. So you can scratch me off that mystical 1 million lost sales list because I wouldn't have bought it any other way.
Yeah that was a great card, did wonders for playing Doom 3 at the time when I switched from a 9800 pro (also a great card for its era).
Yeah, it does with Avast as well.
I bought it second hand as well. It's a good game, but I'm glad I held out on buying it brand new, because I don't think it's worth paying out full price for. Imo.
How is the Wii doing bad when it has sold over twice as much as the Ps3?
It is tagged as pc though.
