If I had to guess, I'm thinking Valve will be using a completely new engine for Episode 3 and that's why it's taken as long as it has. I think once they announce it, it'll be within months of release.
I also think it will be awesome, and I'm willing to wait.
So much for that Catan videogame reboot I heard they were working on.
My favorite game trailer to date is still the Bioshock Under the Sea trailer.
So effective.
A Helghast soldier would kill you where you stand for referring to his food as Nom Nom Nom.
A Little on the Arrogance of Someone With a Keyboard Who Automatically Thinks They Can Write An Article
I won't give you the satisfaction of clicking on your article.
Crackdown 2 was a huge step down from the original. Alan Wake did horribly for them from a sales perspective. MS has Gears 4 and Forza 4 this year, and maybe a Halo HD remake late this year as well with online coop, but other than that, they seem to be banking a lot on Kinect, which to date has had a fairly mediocre lineup as well.
I'm kind of Mindcrafted out until he hopefully adds some sort of objective based content to the game. My understanding is that he wants to add randomized towns/NPCs/quests/etc that will actually give people something to do as opposed to digging their 500th hole in the middle of nowhere and spending hours looking for diamond.
While Kevin Butler is just a character portrayed by Jerry Lambert for Sony as part of an ad campaign, Major Nelson is just himself.
And himself is a douchebag.
LoL, this game is NOT a 9/10, this game is maybe a 6/10 on a good day.
The original was awesome, this one is mostly a train wreck.
Apparently they don't want me to be able to check out their game so that I might pre-order it.
It going to be available for non-plus users anytime before the game comes out?
If it's something you can't buy as a PC gamer, then it's not piracy, it's modding :)
I follow a lot of the people on Twitter that have reviewed KZ3 so far, and when they're NOT reviewing a PS3 exclusive, they spend a lot of time bagging on the PS3 in general. A lot of these guys are sitting in the engine room of the Xbox 360 Express, and that makes them 100% less able to give a PS3 exclusive a worthwhile review IMO.
The G4 review, as an example, was crap, and people called the writer on it on Twitter, and he just kind of blew it off.
Alt...
$300 would be a no brainer.
But I'm guessing $400 minimum considering the specs. Losing money is one thing, but $300 would be insane.
Generally, yeah, Magazine has the word "Playstation" in the title, I just assume this was a payoff, and it still might be, who knows.
Jim Sterling @Destructoid gave it 100% too tho, and Jim is hard as balls on game reviews, so I gotta think this game is probably pretty awesome.
I like Michael Pachter better when he's drunk. Like during the Giant Bomb panel at PAX, he was WASTED. And it was awesome.
He's also one of those people that sees everything as it is based on U.S. sales. If you look at year-over-year console sales 360 vs. PS3 on a worldwide basis, the PS3 is ahead of the 360 in whatever this war is people like to talk about. Take 360 sales from 2009 and overlay them with 2010 PS3 sales, and the PS3 is ahead worldwide.
Some dude on the internet says the 360 is better than the PS3, news at 11.
I have yet to see anything on the 360 match up against Motorstorm, Infamous, Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, or Heavy Rain on a graphical level.
So, to date, no.
I have yet to see anything on the 360 match Uncharted 2, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Heavy Rain, or Infamous graphically and performance wise.
So, to date, I'm gonna say no.
What a hypocrite, I just saw ThePope469 post on Kotaku's Dead Space 2 review that, "This game is off the hook, but needs more titties."
Wait, so Bulletstorm's campaign isn't full 1-4 player coop?
Good to know, I was Day One on this, but now I'll probably just pick up Killzone 3.
