Just in time for nobody to care about Crysis 2 anymore.
Awesome.
Since I would never support the Dark Redneck Welfare Empire that is Wal-Mart, I will totally sign this petition and then just order the game on Amazon.
It's funny how the top man over at Crytek was jumping around all the big game sites a few months ago talking about how Crysis 2 would really shine on PCs, I believe the word he used was "pwn" console versions.
Of course even with the constant chatter online about the DX11 version of Crysis 2, Crytek and EA never said shit about that not being the case until AFTER the game was released and initial sales were in place.
Scumbag companies all around...
This better just be some fringe dev group at Avalanche in apart from the team working on Just Cause 3.
I'll keep an eye on this too tho. If it'll help fund Just Cause 3's development, I'll buy 3 copies.
Best google translation ever:
Monkey Iceland 2: Special Edition
Thought it was some ripoff of Monkey Island initially, which would have been even better.
I love reading shit like this.
Don't worry, he said he paid for this vacation back in November.
He's been a stand up guy so far, why doubt him now...right?
Right?
Just me or do the aliens seem really dumb in that video?
Unless you're playing Crysis 2 on an IMax screen, 128 horizontal pixels is not something a human being will be able to determine with the naked eye in a moving game.
HI-larious what people will run with in the Battle of the Boxes.
I love it when one of Yoda's articles make it to N4G. Long live the Jedi.
I don't anyone knows that Assassin's Creed 3 will be released this year.
If there's evidence to the contrary, I'd love to see it. AFAIK, there have been no announcements.
In other news, Coca Cola employee goes on record calling the new Onion Flavored Coke "The best Coke yet".
Obviously Sony doesn't have an army of lawyers on the payroll for things like this in every division of the company.
They run that company out of back of an old Ross store I hear. I drove by one time, but I just saw a bunch of mexicans loading up landscaping equipment and PSPs.
Oh, this is from the founder of ngmoco? Developer of such products as We Farm and We Rule?
Oh, well then, obviously he's in a position to tell us things.
PS3 hacker: "Yesterday was Thursday, Thursday, Today i-is Friday, Friday, It's Friday, Friday, gotta get banned on Friday. We-we-we so excited, We so excited, We gonna have a ball today...hey, wtf?"
I dunno that it tells any story, take any of these mostly static scenes and put them up against a similar scene in Uncharted 1 or 2 and I think Uncharted will win from a technical and visual standpoint.
It's still good to see that even in the light of Microsoft seemingly casualizing the 360 due to success with the Kinect, they're still working on improving the visuals for the system.
This looks really nice, like a 3D Mark demo on the Xbox 360.
Start adding in AI, character models and movement, and this will be scaled back significantly tho. Plus it all looks very Wallace and Grommit-y to me, which is fine, I like the art style, but I'll be more interested to see it in actual games than a most static tech demo video.
Guessing it's still pretty early tho, as someone who loves the games more than the hardware, I'd like nothing m...
Looks like Warhammer 40k soldier in a straight jacket.
What kind of tropical resort is this anyway?
They could redeem Haze in a well done sequel, felt like a game pushed in development and testing, I could see a game where the mechanics from Haze would work and succeed, it just didn't happen this time.
Also, having only 5 games that could be considered for this list actually says great things about the PS3. There are a boatload of amazing exclusive titles on the system, and many more coming out this year.
Competition is good. + or - a few million units sold isn't going to run either of these companies out of town.
Butthurt fanboys who enjoy speculating and spinning numbers to meet their own needs hate to hear that their imaginary arch rival in the console business isn't going to implode based on monthly NPD numbers though.
