Probably, I am an indie game sympathizer.
Loved New Vegas, hated Dead Money. Hopefully this new DLC will be more appealing.
More Sony Doomsday articles littering the internet is exactly what we need!
This whole ordeal has turned into a witch hunt by Sony haters and politicians to destroy the credibility of a company trying to repair the damage created by hackers and Sony's own underestimation of what they needed from a security standpoint.
I didn't see the government stepping in when Monoprice got hacked, or Amazon, or a dozen other companies who had data compromised over ...
Other than some pretty exceptional voice acting for DLC, Dead Money was horrible, I hope they kick it up a notch with these.
It should be Banjo Kazooie and his fatality should be burying that damned bird in their skull.
Do you ever actually see her in the game without working at it? I spent a few minutes placing portals at one point to get a better look at her, and she looks the same as she did in the first game IMO.
I haven't clicked on the link, but i can only imagine this entire article is based on the artwork above.
This summer in Valve time means late August.
Was this article written in Notepad? It must have been some app that had no spelling or grammar checking option.
Otherwise, I agree with the sentiment, but if you want to seem at least somewhat professional, better start 'brining' in teams to improve the situation.
There's no reason to point to Microsoft for comparison, there are a multitude of retail and financial institutions that have had security breaches.
Here are several examples: http://wikibon.org/blog/the...
Assuming that the hacker/s was able to pull 100% of the data before Sony shut them down, this is pretty high up there, but there are a couple of breac...
Oh, you mean like requiring people to buy a 1st party hard drive from the console maker?
Or do you mean like requiring peripheral makers to buy the licensing rights to make wireless controllers?
Or do you mean requiring people to pay an additional $60/year on top of the Netflix monthly fee to watch Netflix?
Or do you mean requiring publishers to pay a fee for additional discs over the first one that comes with multi disc titles?
Awesome. Alabama, normally known for bombing abortion clinics, sex with direct relations and trying to get Donald Trump into the White House, are now taking on the task of scoring $2-$3 for each PSN user while a group of lawyers walk away with millions.
This sounds like a great idea.
What's Final Smash?
I wanna know what their next big movie will be too! Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within 2?
If you're still sitting there with an active card that you had entered on PSN, especially a debit/check card, you should be cancelling and having it re-issued regardless. It's nice to hear it's "probably not" compromised, but "probably not" is not "has not".
Nah, as soon as it's back up, I'll plug in an updated credit card. This is the 3rd time at least in as many years that some online service I use has been compromised and I've had to cancel the card I was using the have it re-issued. This is no different than when it happened with NewEgg or Monoprice or Amazon. I'm not going to treat it any differently, and extremist "sky-is-falling" fanatics need to put this into perspective.
Good post from someone...
Gotta say, 3 people on the internet reporting credit card fraud isn't anything conclusive as far as PSN credit card info being accessed.
I say this having cancelled my card last night and had it reissued, but seriously, I'm pretty sure 3 people who didn't even have PSN accounts were frauded in the last 2 minutes somewhere in the world, so 3 people out of 75 million who happened to have PSN accounts isn't really proving anything.
Also, don'...
Wow, a career politician that feigns interest in a video game related issue to garner votes on a timely issue? That happens?
You got my vote!
Well, not really.
20 minutes later, Pachter stopped at Starbucks for a Venti Mochachino, only to find out that all of his credit cards had been maxed out.
Anyone who does this deserves what they're getting in exchange.
Patience is a virtue, and there are a mountain of kickass single player games on the PS3 to enjoy in the meantime.
Might have to pick up Case West, didn't think it was worth $10, but would probably enjoy it for $5.
Disrupting services and bringing down networks only hurts end users, whatever happens to those in Anonymous that are brought before law enforcement and legal counsel, they've kind of made their bed on this one. Whether or not they were involved in this particular incident or not is irrelevant, they've put themselves out there, and for some of them, there will likely be consequences.
