Poorly placed Fable 2/3 reference obviously :).
I hope this is at least a couple of hours of gameplay and isn't more than $10. I'm definitely ready for more Dead Space tho. Playing through DS2 a second time right now.
When I get tired of the mom bothering me all the time and kill her, do they send off the kid to an orphanage?
Without campaign coop and missing a boatload of potential online modes, this game is a $30-$40 title, not a $60 one. Going to wait for it to hit $40 on Amazon, then I'll use my $20 KZ3 credit towards it.
New Source engine is likely the reason for the extended delay on Half Life 3. Hopefully Valve coming out and making a statement on the engine itself means they are close to a bigger announcement.
You should have paid the $1 for release day delivery. I bought it when it was $57.99 and paid the 99 cent release day delivery, will be here tomorrow, tax free, and the $20 credit, woot.
Throw in $5-$10 now to ensure you can continue pirating full price games forever!
Hilarious how warez monkeys won't pony up for any actual work done, but some douchebag who can't hold a real job and sits around destroying intellectual property protection, they'll pay for.
Wait til you hear such high brow conversation as, "You almost scared the dick off me!" and "Hurry up dicktits!"
They've really cornered the market for 12 year olds who just like to hear game characters say "dick" a lot.
I dunno dude, he did say, "The level designs and graphics are some of the best to date. With the Unreal Technology, you get the feel of Gears of War in cinematics."
It's THE Unreal Technology. Clearly those blurry rocks w/ the original Star Trek-esque painted backdrop behind them are the height of THE Unreal Technology.
"With the leash as your best friend in hand, you will find just the satisfaction it gives when you whip it out the first time."
LOL, Tumblr reviews. This is 4 paragraphs of vague game descriptions, not a review. I can appreciate the effort, but I don't know anything after reading this review that I didn't know before I clicked on the link.
"With the humorous Grayson Hunt with his witty lines throughout gameplay, makes it all gratifyin...
Exactly.
I bet Cliffy's hit that.
Just sayin'
As an owner of both consoles that would likely buy this on the PS3, it still annoys me that this kind of crap is still happening on both sides of the aisle.
Having said that, if Resident Evil 6 is just more of the same in a post Dead Space world, then I'm pretty much indifferent.
The XBox 360 is the Walker Texas Ranger of game consoles. Gamers in the U.S. love it because it provides a fountain of first person shooters for them to pretend they're packing automatic assault rifles and popping their friends' heads like grapes with a single shot. Outside of the FPS and sports genres, it doesn't offer much as far as pushing the gaming envelope.
Comparing it to the PS2 or SNES as some sort of innovative gaming platform is either naive or uned...
But what about the NPDs? That's all the matters, rite? Rite?
I love that people just assumed it sold poorly because it didn't show up on the NPDs. Not everybody shops at WalMart.
Or would step inside one for that matter.
Strange that we haven't seen these drops in the states, I mean, we've got this whole "buy it for full price, get a $50 gift card" thing going on, but not just a full drop in price yet from what I've seen.
Then again, I have 2 PS3s, the last thing I need is a reason to pick up a third...
Man, I love Gabe, he's godamned awesome.
@Montrealien
You're absolutely right, in retrospect my post seems like a troll, if it would still let me edit it, I would.
I've been bouncing both games back and forth in my head for almost 2 weeks, should I buy one, the other, or both, which is why I said I would just buy Killzone 3. It wasn't intended to be a slant against Bulletstorm, in my head it was just me saying, "Well, this isn't what I thought, so I'm going to go with this...
Bulletstorm looks like a pretty awesome experience, running through a full campaign with 2-3 buddies online. As a single player campaign, it looks to be seriously lacking. Especially from the company that makes the engine that has powered numerous other full campaign coop experiences.
50 Cent Blood on the Sand used the UE and had full campaign coop for god's sake.
I also feel like they've been pushing this as a "PLAY THROUGH WITH YOUR FRIENDS!&...
Whether this game is any good or not is largely irrelevant, 3D Realms now owns the rights to a fairly well known IP, and as long as it sells reasonably well based on hype and nostalgia, Gearbox is in a position to make more Duke Nukem games that will meet their level of quality.
At the same time, Gearbox paid a lot of money for those rights and this game itself, so Pitchford isn't going to stand out in the rain singing about how bad this game might be, but he is positioni...
