I don't think it's about control, I believe if you can remove the hardware from consoles, you skip one of the processes. Remember we went through that chip shortage, that will be an issue again in the future, I'm not saying this is a leading issue, but it's a factor to consider.

I agree with people are saying. There's sole really good ideas in the games followed by some odd choices. I loved Bl2 , and I liked the presequel because it tries to explain Handsome Jack's downfall (YouTube game theory handsome jack).
Also PreSeq, has this really cool team play where talents could help pick your friends up from bleeding out. Athena throwing her shield if it bounces of a player they are picked up from dying. Head shots Aith the sniper chick etc.

An animation series could've been good. Like rick and Morty but in the Borderlands universe.
Stick Claptrap as the main character and allow him to he a cocky robot who is rather clumsy. That meets different vault hunters and never achieve their goal.
From the trailers I've seen, this is Hollywood's pg version of something that's not borderlands. The trailers looked piss poor, and look like a flop from the get go.

What I find interesting, I dislike Nintendo for their new sales tactics. But when the company struggles, the top take a cut to make sure they survive.
Many other companies are out there for themselves. My girlfriend worked in large tech companies as marketing and the amount of friends in high places that'll leech the bank account before the company can make a profit is shocking.

We live in the age of trends. New releases.come out, they become the trend and then we grow bored and move onto the next. Not many games last with a high player count for a long time
Sadly it's still a boring game. My max level pre season was 65, now it's 78 before I just stopped playing.
It's a smoother progress getting to T4 content but it lacks the fun. Dungeons are far to similar and there are some really bad designs with running around for too long and back tracking with stones.
The world in my opinion is it's worst design. It's very large and takes time running or teleporting between towns.

This looks very outdated with it's gameplay, looks a little rough on combat and has this quirk that I feel falls a little flat. I'll let the GF play it as she loves the movies, but I don't feel that interested in it.

I loved D3 and would play a season for weeks.
D4 came out I reached level 60 ish and grew bored, I tried again in S1 and got to the same level and quit. I heard about the loot revamp, and briefly tried season 3 before jumping into the new season.
The game is better because it's easier to feel this progression smoothly increase, without hitting such a large road block, but I am level 61 and in Torment 4, and again I just don't feel the urge to continue.

It's surprising it's meant to be a strong release for MS but there is zero marketing behind it's "coming soon" date.

It's a high price for an upgrade in graphic settings, you aren't getting anything "new" so that's the issue, such like the Ps4 pro, you go from 4k 30 to 4k 60, you're still playing the same game across both consoles.
People forget to remember you aren't unlocking features that are highly noticeable such as older consoles. You buy a Ps2, and you see a game on a Ps3, you are locked out until you get a Ps3.
