I'm not sure yet. I tried the beta and found myself bored a few times. Lack of mobs on the world map sucked. A lot of issues with quests being spread across the world and having to walk to a and b and back again was not fun.
I tried the barb and it was pretty weak source. By the time I wanted to change class I had lost interest in the beta.
Will see what they say is going to be end gsme content but at the moment it hasn't gotten me excited.
Rift apart is a game I'm interested in trying if it comes to pc. I don't own a PS5 or need one currently. So having some games on both platforms is great to see.
Hopefully it has a serious design team and isn't a made for kids sort of game with a rush approach.
Be interesting to see a map builder. As this is what is missing from the Mario kart games
I'd rather a sequal with Joel from the day of the out break to the point he meets Ellie.
Part 2 was such a drag I began wanting it over 20 hours in. It was a graphic beauty but removing Joel was their down fall. Ellie is an alright character but her living on rage was boring.
It was the bond between her and Joel that made the first one great.
I want more of Joel, a prequel would be amazing. From the outbreak up till he meets Ellie.
I don't want more of #2, grest details but the story wasn't as great as the first.
Someone gave me their copy from a GPU promotion. I tried it on the steam deck and it ran poorly so uninstalled after 10 mins and haven't gone back. I completely forgot that I own a copy of this game.

I wish Microsoft went down the route of allowong meta to give them support for plugging in their quest headsets into the Xbox series X to get a console like vr experience. If Microsoft made their own vr headset I personally wouldn't buy the psvr 2 looks cool, but it's very expensive and I barely use my quest 2.
Just adding the voice overs randomly made this partly cringeful.

It's a shame Microsoft didn't/doesn't team up with one of the other VR companies and allow VR support on their series X. Imagine plugging in a vive, or quest 2 to the series X to play vr games. I know it wouldnt make Microsoft a lot of money, but it would be another reason for sales on the Xbox to happen.
I'm waiting on release and reviews before I spend my money on this.
Yes, it's a little fiddly at times when going outside of steam OS. But it's the best purchase I've made in years.

I had always thought of a prequel to the events in the first game. You go through the days after the outbreak as Joel, surviving his background story of being a raider, joining clans, working with his brother and so on. Up till he meets Ellie.
I found part 2 really hard to take. After the cutscene with Joel and being left with a character full of revenge but nothing else. It became stale quickly and I wanted the ride over and done with around the 20 hour mark.

But you're right. It's poor optimization, as look at botw. That runs flawlessly, and that's an intense game graphicly.
I enjoyed the concept of the Wii U. I wish Nintendo brought back the concept with an addon for the switch.
Ever played Zombi U multiplayer games on it? Great concept, one person uses the TV and a pro controller to survive waves of zombies. Where the person with the tablet was spawning zombies on the map.
No mount in that first beta. Mount unlocks at 30, and beta cap was 25.
Many videos state the barb felt under powdered compared to other classes. I did a w.w dust devil build, great for Aoe but lacked on bosses.
I didn't get the other classes, as time restraints. I got to level 21 on the barb, so didn't see the major unlocks past this.
