Probably just a frame rate increase
The top down zelda games ran like ass on the switch, stuttering frame rates on links awakening. So the free update will hopefully fix this issue and make it more playable. I doubt it'll be any sort of real improvement.
Where as the tears of the kingdom and botw will probably get an upscale to 1080p and 30/60fps modes, and maybe some additional content for its cost.
They're like TVs, but they don't need to be plugged in to display their picture. But the only issue is the screen doesn't change the background much, just the characters move.
I played the original release and came back for season 2 and didn't touch this game again. It was rubbish then, and the improvements aren't enough for me to spend the time.
The overworld was boring, with those helltides just being a silly +increase.mob spawns with nothing worth doing outside of Mindless killing.
I miss D3, shame it doesn't have controller support on pc, or I'd be playing that constantly.
Bring back jack!
Don't blame the gamers for the garbage that we call D4.
I may be one of the few, but I found skyrim over rated at the core level. Great open world to explore, but the lack of unique items, being rewarded XP for basic things like questing, it felt meh.
I've spent loads of time in the game, but found the Fallout series more interesting.
For an addon sandbox, sure this is a fantastic game, but I have no drive to dig deep into it.
It's a crap game, a lot needs to change.
Great gameplay, rubbish story.
I don't see playstation/Sony releasing games to Xbox consoles. But having it on pc and ps6, means it's not exclusive and double dips in 2 markets that don't really compete with each other.
It was an alright game that had loads of remove for improvement.
Better crafting system, better loot system, better stealth.
Was a fun play on the steam deck, but it didn't wow me like the last of us.
I'd be game to check out a number 2 days gone.
Release a create a map for MK9 and it'll be a huge hit
The dual image, the left joycon looks raised towards the top as you can see the shadowing underneath it, the right joycon photo is cut off so you cannot tell that it is raised.
I do not think this product is fake, but is it a Joycon for Switch 2, or a 3rd party con for Switch 1 + 2?
There's nothing wrong with treating yourself, and it's great you have the priorities in the right order, I commend that.
For me, a £400 additional cost needs to give me more than 60fps at high/ultra graphics. £400 is a lot of money for a medium performance boost. Considering £400 is a Steam Deck/ROG Ally or a Switch Oled and games etc. There's a lot more options at play now than there was during the PS4 Pro days.

I'm not surprised these haven't sold that well. I remember upgrading from the Ps4 to the Ps4 pro and the upgrade was barely noticeable. That I do not see people selling their current £450 consoles at say around £300, to pay another £400 (ish) for 60fps with high graphics settings.
Medium vs ultra settings? 10 bucks please.
The steam deck has been my go to device since I got it.
I've tried an Ally and LeGo, both are decent handhelds, but I prefer the design of the deck with steam OS and window boot.
If they release a Deck 2 with a big enough upgrade. I'd definitely get one of those.
Just watching the video reveal and it's very "Apple" and the marketing is unreal. They are pulling the blinds over peoples eyes, and it's somewhat misleading. It's setting a false expectation that they aren't selling and it's advertised to people who they believe they do not understand specs.
It's a high price for an upgrade in graphic settings, you aren't getting anything "new" so that's the issue, such like the Ps4 pro, you go from 4k 30 to 4k 60, you're still playing the same game across both consoles.
People forget to remember you aren't unlocking features that are highly noticeable such as older consoles. You buy a Ps2, and you see a game on a Ps3, you are locked out until you get a Ps3.
You buy a Ps4, and you see a ...
I like the idea kf the switch 2, will I get one? No.
Got the switch and i barely use it. I wanted more 3rd party games on the go.
The steam deck came out and this fulfils that need. I cam always upgrade to a newer PC based handheld and get the needs met.
The switch 2 doesn't offer enough for its price tag and especially as others mentioned the high price of games.
