I thought CoD4 was a great game, but every system has better games already availible. For the PS3 it would be Ratchet and Clank or Uncharted, for the 360 I'd pick Bioshock or Mass Effect and on PC I'd have to go Orange Box. The PS2 is in its what??? 7th year right now. It will most surely die at the end of the 8th year, but thanks to the Wii the PS2 has survived longer then intended. Since the Wii is no more powerful then the Xbox (1) it is easy for 3rd party developers to port to the PS2 and make a little side money on the intial investment. The PS3 will certainly last 5 years (1 average console cycle) but thanks to Blu-ray already being implenmented on the PS3 the machine is not future proof but future ready...

you forget that the PS3 is assumed to use between 60 to 90MB of RAM just to run their OS and other features and as of right now their OS is pretty basic, so anybody who knows about memory will tell you that 60 to 90MB of ram for what they are offering now is way to much. So looks like they have already taken future upgrades to the OS into consideration they are just having an issue with implentation.

The sense of speed that this game shows is just amazing, can't wait for the retail version.
This looks like another game that will push some 360 sales in Japan the way Blue Dragon did, but when it comes stateside it may flop the way Blue Dragon did, which is sad really. Jrpg's might not be there on the Cut-edge the way Mass Effect or Oblivion are, but still solid games that deserve to be played and enjoyed.
