@awesomeperson, I live in Southern California and like you (which apparently must not be true seeing as I got disagrees, LoL) I couldn't find controllers on their own. I didn't need the camera since I have one, so looking for individual move controllers was a no go.
Gamestop - No, Used ones but fuck that.
Amazon - sold out
target, best buy, Wal-mart - No
Must've sold, I couldn't find Move controllers anywhere, unless they were used at Gamestop or as part of a Move Bundle. But individual controllers where next to impossible to find.
I agree with you 100%, but now a days its all about money for companies and where can i feel like a rockstar for "gamers". if this game was set to sell 1 million copies Capcom wants to sell 2. And for the new breed of "gamers" out there its all about simplicity. Why to you think games like Call of duty are so popular? because they are simple fun with little to no negative for losing. I haven't played CoD 4 in years but I bet if I got a few practice games in I'd own...
What people fail to understand sometimes is it takes a lot of PR to push a game into a new crowd of gamers. So in this case the Ripten.com team went against Capcom using simple mode and "pwn'd" them up. Truth of the matter is the Capcom team most likely hold back to promote the game as user friendly to new comers using simple mode. Imagine new gamers on the fence reading "Simple mode not enough to put up a fight" might as well say good bye to those would'be consume...
another bonus that comes with these classic skins is their classic fatalities as well. So say you want to do Sub-Zero's head rip from MK1 you have to pre-order this at Bestbuy and so fourth for the other characters.
Don't know how it works on the 360 seeing as I don't own 1. But PS3 games are developed around a certain Firmware. Example Assassin's Creed:BH was developed to be released at a time where Firmware 3.5 would be on the system. So playing that game on a system that is on 3.41 will lead to you being prompted to upgrade your firmware to play. So what would be the work around for that? I'm all into homebrewing something that can be useful to the consumer but right now it seems like ...
Coo as long as you know it was all in the way you guys interact with each other then its all good. I get what your saying about gamestop, cause I have pre-ordered from there a few times recently because of the their extras, but outside of that I don't deal with their lame hand me offs. They try pulling that shit on me with 3D dot game hero, all they had were "NEW" open copies, I asked them for a sealed one, they didn't have it and I walked out. The only time I go is when I h...
if your nephew was that ungrateful for a gift, you should've taken back. Fuck Gamestop for selling you an open game as "NEW" but WTF is up with your nephew? I would've taken that game back so quick and gave it to some strangers kid who would most likely thank his lucky stars he just got a free game.
can't wait for this game, looks like a ton of fun.
On a side note Adam Sessler has the weakest handshake I have ever seen on a man.
Sony should try to upgrade the PS3 to read 100GB or larger blu-rays and put the security on the disk. Imagine a game like Uncharted 3 being 25GB then the disk is loaded with 75GB of garbage data that is necessary to play the game. Who the hell wants to wait for 100GB of information to download just to play a pirated game. Their are still many options for Sony to combat the main issue, which is piracy, but unfortunately it looks like games will be hacked with cheats from now on. O'well if ...
I'm a level 5 vegan, I won't eat anything that cast a shadow.
I never said Sony should do all the work, read number three again. I said base-line engine. Just to get dev's going in the right direction. Plus an engine does not guarantee automatic success. There are tons of games out there this gen that use the Unreal engine and about 90% of them are trash or fail to even come close to looking as good as some of Epic's games. The use of an engine still takes talented individuals to understand and utilize. Number 3 was listed because I have tested ...
To play devils advocate, this will only continue if Sony does start an internal tools program. Sony has always been at the fore front of tech on the hardware side of things but they leave a lot to be desired when it comes to software tools for their hardware, while things are extremely polished and friendly within Sony's in house studio when it comes to sharing info and tech, a ton of third party studios to not have the same benefit. As a result PS3 owner such as myself can only hope on a...
It's the Madden for this Gen of Gaming. Remember how well Madden games used to sell during PS2 & Xbox1 days, it was just as crazy and look what happens when you rest on that recycled success. Madden struggles to meet expectations both sales wise and gameplay wise this gen and seeing as it is the only game with an NFL license, thats pretty sad.
I felt it too, I thought Black Ops was the best one since MW1, but being the PS3 version had Issues I just couldn't overlook any longer, decided to trade it in for $40 and used that to get Assassin's Creed:Botherhood. AC:BH is a lot more fulfilling experience from a gaming stand point. and MP in AC is more engaging then CoD as well, I just wish more people were playing it.
The problem with EA head hunting is that West and Vince had a contract for exclusivity with Activision. So promises of things to come if they left early are illegal. Think about it in a sports sense, IW has a contract with Activision until 2012, meaning that no other team can have direct contact with them until free agency, which would have been 2012. The only way that this would have been legal and avoided is if EA would have contacted Activision directly and asked for permission to talk to ...
No, the Modern Warfare tagline was suppose to be used only for IW CoD games, so Activision in sense still owns the Modern Warfare tagline as long as they got IW studios open, which they do, or until they can get the paperwork reversed for full usage. But as it is only IW CoD games can use the Modern Warfare tagline.
Won't happen with Blizzard games. Activision is actually the minority holder in the merger with Blizzard. Blizzard is pretty much in control of themselves, so their dedication to quality will stay intact for the foreseeable future.
Problem with the VGA's is that they cater to the Mainstream gamer. And the Mainstream gamer only cares about 1 thing, Mainstream games. They don't care about the reveals or anything else cause as long as they get their CoD fix every year then they're okay and won't care about anything else other then "How good is the next CoD going to be?". I gave up on the show after they had the cast from Jersey Shore show up. After that, done and wrap, no need to even watch this t...
PS3 - A system so powerful it cause other systems to be hacked.
WTF, IW is an overrated dev.
