They closed Bizarre, cancelled on United front, The studio behind DJ hero was closed, don't really know whats going to happen to neversoft with Tony Hawk flopping and Guitar hero killed off, closing 7 Studio which was going to handle something yet unannounced plus other shut-offs that were unannounced. So while flyingmunky read it wrong his pretty close to the number of studios they closed.
@eggbert I would blame it on my connection as well, but I test it on a regular bases and all test confirm the advertised speed from my ISP. I know back when I had charter they would cap me, because I would test it and see that I had single digits speed that would suddenly become double digits as soon as I called to complain, which is why I switched.

If aiming without the assist is such a chore why turn it off? I actually enjoyed my time with the demo. Putting a guy in slo-mo then tagging his ass with a bomb, followed by kicking him into a group of his homies to blow them all up was pretty enjoyable. This game might warrant a buy from me based on fun factor alone.

I only agree with #3 since this wasn't always the case. I way I finished MGS4 was through game saves, I would play during breaks at work and then bring it home in case I had time. Then I tried it with Killzone 2 only to have copyright save protection tell I couldn't do it. The rest are all part of the package. I think in order for a review site to be legitimate, one practice has to change. Getting/accepting free swag when reviewing a game. Is this game really that good? or is the free shit that comes along with it that makes this game that much better than the others. Also reviewer should pay for their copy of the game. When you have to pay for a game at $60 a pop you tend to be more critical of what your playing. Also Pre-release reviews should be unacceptable especially when there is a MP element...
