Yep. :( They care more about current trends than making a truly great game. It was their fault Dead Space 3 didn't do as well as 2 because, against the devs' wishes, they wanted it to have co-op because MuLtIpLaYeR > SiNgLePlAyEr. It's scary that companies like EA have so much influence on the industry.
RIP Visceral. Fuck EA.
No thanks.
I think there's definitely a place for cloud gaming among physical and digital. But people who act like it's the be all / end all for gaming are only fooling themselves. Streaming is not going to do for games what it did for music and movies because, unlike music and movies, games are 100% interactive. It's been nearly 8 years since OnLive went defunct and input latency is still an issue for Stadia. As long as that continues to be the case, the technology won't work for every ...
A Rockstar game that's a mess at launch? You don't say.
If Capcom could salvage their reputation, so can Bethesda.
No Selvaria or Sylvanas Windrunner? Boooo.
You're right. THQ Nordic just owns the IP, while EA still owns the publishing rights. Which means EA would have to approve any kind of re-release/remaster. This was confirmed by THQ Nordic via Eurogamer shortly after the acquisition last year.
Kingdoms of Amalur is now owned by THQ Nordic. Here's hoping they do something with it soon enough.

I agree with you, for the most part. However, outrage culture isn't new. The internet and social media just made it more prominent. Everyone has a soapbox now. As for Dan Cathy, he's also anti-LGBTQ/same-sex marriage. It doesn't matter how respectful he is, he's straight up attacking people's livelihoods based on his religious beliefs. Using a 2000-year-old book to dictate what a woman can do with her body or who someone can marry is ridicul...

"Oh no. Words from a stranger. Whatever shall I do? I wish I was capable of just ignoring them and moving on with my da-... Oh... Wow... I am!"
And yet here you are, bothered by the words of a stranger. Didn't think that one through, did you?

Apparently, the girlfriend isn't the only one who said some things that rubbed some people the wrong way. 2311d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment
@Silly gameAr
You're wrong on all accounts.
@rainslacker
You put way too much thought into what I said. I didn't put it in the form of a question to be a smart ass. It was an observation. Whether I agree with an opinion or not is irrelevant. If you say a lot of negative bullshit and get backlash over it, maybe the problem is you and not the people who are offended by it. Again, I think it's wrong to accuse the devs based on association, but it's not difficult to understand their outrage if you took a minu...
People apparently think I support the backlash the devs are getting based on my comments. I don't. I do, however, support the backlash this stupid ass chick is getting. Those who insist on being the shittiest version of themselves shouldn't be surprised when people react in kind.
To be clear, I don't agree with the backlash the devs are getting just because she's associated with one of them. My point was that it's easy not to care about something when it doesn't effect you. I'm pretty sure if your existence was under attack, you wouldn't be happy about it either.
I'm personally not triggered, but I can certainly understand why people get offended by destructive criticism.
Or, you know, just stop being a fuckhead. That works too.
Get better opinions?
Are you trans or have any friends or family who are trans? I'm guessing no.
Know what I do when I'm not interested in a game? I move on. I don't put this much energy into hating something I haven't even played because of X, Y, or Z reason. That's not normal behavior.
