It IS solid. It's a day one purchase for me. I just fear that I won't be able to find it anywhere but at EBgames.. which isn't an option.
If in fact EA has 'learnt' it's lesson regarding Wii, there can only be 2 outcomes:
1: EA will never release another game on Wii ever again.
2. EA will start copying Ubisoft's Wii model. Girly shovelware en masse.
I disagree. It's taking way too damn long.
Probably the same as everyone else. About the same they think of a Wad-a-Toilet paper.
Heavy Rain? No one cares about Heavy Rain... Sorry.
Always someone else's fault...
Take some god damned responsibility for your constant fluck ups already!
Who invites friends over to play a demo? lol
Ya know MS, everyone says you got a good controller. Maybe you should find some interesting ways to use that.
In a mature fashion:
These screenshots are tiny and can't be used to judge the graphical quality of the game running real-time in 720p on a moderate to large screen.
Uncharted has given us many full res shots as well as in-game footage. Uncharted 2 is clearly running at a much higher poly count and the textures are superb.
Assassin's Creed II will likely look awesome, but comparison to U2 is unwarranted until they have the balls to release some 720p foot...
Well if Nintendo DS has taught us anything it's that people don't want to be giving their personal devices voice commands in public.
We don't want to spend hundreds of dollars to appear batshit loco in the eyes of the general public. (Though Microsoft often appear to want to spend billions to accomplish it.)
Space Invaders?
I don't think anyone has ever thought the game rendered at 1080p (I hope not anyway, cause they're dumb if they did.)
The game likely has 1080p cutscenes and probably HUD so it will automatically change your display to 1080p on PS3, if supported. Unfortunately that means the game itself will be upscaled to 1080p in the process.
Xbox does this automatically if supported, regardless of the fact that it's stupid.
2 things:
First, don't purchase content on iTunes for any reason and keep copies of your own media backed up on CD/DVD/BD.. whatever.
Second, just hand over control of this wiki discussion to someone outside of the US and the Digital Millenium Copyright Act is meaningless.
Of course, that doesn't result in hundreds of thousands of dollars in your pocket, but it sufficiently delivers a middle finger to your oppressors.
Does Apple OS X not come with Safari? QuickTime Player? iLife?
I don't understand what the difference is. OF COURSE Microsoft is going to bundle their browser with Windows. Every OS needs an internet browser, if only to go online and download the browser of your choice. Does anyone expect Coca-Cola to put a can of Pepsi in every case?
They HAVE a proprietary browser. It is free! Why WOULDN'T it be on the OS disc? How is that anti-trust? Every other browser is just as...
I traded Assassin's Creed in before 2.40
I will admit first that it is entirely within my capability to pirate any PSP game I see fit. Having said that, it's a bit stupid to blame piracy for the lack luster game sales on PSP when you have to go back a YEAR to find a single game worth pirating.
Take some responsibility for your inaction Sony. Admit that in 2008 there were only THREE games worth purchasing and you may be in the mindset to start dealing with the PSP's real issue: A pathetic lack of software and an ass-back...
Who approved this 3 month old rumour? These blog comments were posted back when the MGO expansion was announced. It's also been posted to N4G in various forms since then.
"We hear you" is not confirmation of anything.
"We hear you and don't give half a crap what you think"
Bullet Time is only worth mentioning in the context of film. It requires a specific and time consuming process to achieve in a movie. In a video game it's just a matter of programming the camera to 360 the character (or whatever the subject may be). Not very impressive at all.
Video games need to find their own Bullet Time before they bother finding the next Bullet Time.
Agreed. 358/2 Days seems like the worst game in the series to date. It seems more like an excuse to put a game on the DS and cash in on the easy money than to expand the story.
They are going to have a hard enough time living up to the franchise on PSP. They should have gone a separate route on the DS. Something more similar to what they did on GBA. Chain of Memories was quite good.
But wouldn't you LOVE a 1080p remake of Super Mario World a la PixelJunk?
