The way I see it, if I'm playing a game, I don't really want to be distracted with a conversation. If I'm playing a game with someone, we're probably talking within the game anyway.
If I'm going to have a conversation apart from the game, it will likely be done over the phone. Even when I talk on the phone, I have to pause my game, cause I can't pay attention to both at once. (I know that's not the norm)
More than likely, but i don't consider it the be-all/end-all by any means.
My work shift dictates that I mostly game in the early afternoons when there's isn't anyone around to talk to anyway.

I agree, however Firefox and Chrome are built on the same open source technology. Strip either down to it's basic browser elements and they're essentially identical. That would necessary if either were to implement a browser in the PS3. So basically it's the same either way.
