i dont play rpgs coz i feel it takes forever doing the same things. collecting armour, weapons, spells and upgrading the lot, then boss fights.
i started playing oblivion the other day, after about 2 hours i was like "i dont think il be finishing this game."
but no disrespect to rpg lovers, but not all games are for everybody. i know some people who hate racing games and others sports games.
it may be a strong contender for game of the year, but lets face it, there are a lot of sites out there who will probably give a multiplat game (CoD:MW/BF3) GOTY just not to upset anyone. not to mention some sites will give it to gears3.
but to hell with all those websites.
i play games and make up my own mind.

when GT5 came out i dont remember seeing this many comparisons. thats coz deep down they knew GT would kill anything it came up against and it would totally go against everything they said to knock the game in the first place.

correct me if im wrong but put simply what you saying is GT5 was reviewed for what it did not have while forza was reviewed for everything it did have.
who the hell cares which game is better.
obviously GT5 has stuff that forza doesnt and vice versa.
its up to the individual. some prefer GT5 coz that feels more realistic to them, others feel forza has better simulation.
sure, Sebastian Vettel, the F1 world champion helped with the making of GT5, but some people will take a reviewers <who drives a mini cooper> opinion as fact.

agreed, however, this online pass is for multiplayer only. which is all good and well so no complaints here. this should give people incentive to buy the game new. but have you seen the online pass for Batman? a freaking online pass for single player. that is just ridiculous. now anyone who has no online <my ps3 isnt connected to the net> cannot complete that game 100% coz 10% is locked out with an online pass.

i really dont think games on consoles look bad by any means.
BF3, uncharted3, forza4, Gt5, gears 3 all look quite good.

we dont complain that we cant play online, but atleast we getting the option which we are paying for.
