review scores mean jack to a gamer.
scores are mostly for the fanboys and trolls to prove to themselves they have more fun with their games.
if you have a pc that can run this game that well, get it on pc.
dont let the difficulty get to you.
eventually you will get used to it and compete at that level too.
im talking from experience on this.
it took me a while to play UT2004 on Masterful. but i enjoy the challenge.
it will become so popular some companies *cough* Activision *cough* will start charging you extra for it. they'll claim its DLC.
they saving the perfect scores for MW3.
they just gave forza4 perfect scores. so now they have to skip one to keep credibility <just happens to be this one> and then the next one will be perfect score <which will probably be MW3>
agreed man. the whole scoring system is broken.
i seen too many perfect scores being thrown around nowadays. now fair enough the game is good, but giving it perfect score implies there is no room for improvement. like wtf!
nowadays repeated crap gets dished out yearly <COD> and gets high praise each time without doing much over each iteration. but thats what gaming journalism has come to.
if its average, give it 75. if its good 80-90. ...
i think there is too much emphasis on graphics.
Recent example - Uncharted 3.
90% of comparisons are graphical.
ive not seen not one new comparison of gameplay. i dont know what new things one can do in U3 that we cant in U2.
oh and 90% of the comparisons between GT5 and Forza4.
nevermind that, take BF3 for example. its all about the Graphics. not how gamplay differs between the PS3 and x360 given the different con...

i just finished MGS4 this weekend after owning it for 2 years.
i must say it was enjoyable, but i dont know, i just felt it lacked something that the first one <on psone> had. not sure what it is though.
it is a satisfying experience, worthy of its praise but yeah....something just felt odd.

im sure they know they have the option to sell a complete box set to make extra money off the same game.
so even if they didnt make as much money from people like you buying it when it releases, bundling it with all the DLC will make others <like me> buy it now.
and if the game doesnt come out with complete editions with all the dlc you just pick it up used and there goes their potential sale.
then they come with online passes and try to justify it coz of used game sales.
its a vicious cycle.

quit whining. its called a budget and planning.
you dont HAVE to have every game out on day 1. the stores arent gonna be running short of stock a month later and neither will the multiplayer.
next month is just uncharted and Skyrim, 2 games worth getting. but im not a RPG fan so il squeeze in batman then. simple.
