you saying this forgetting that microsoft is the same company that ditched the Xbox after 4 years. by ditched, i mean they stopped selling the hardware and stopped all companies from making software for the system. they basically killed it after 4 years.
so anything they do, no matter how short the lifespan is, wont surprise me anymore.
with all the examples you just gave.....how many of those games comes out with a sequel every year?
its the same game since COD4. only a fool would think differently.
they havent even added anything new with respect to the mechanics of the game. if gamers wanted quantity of games, its not that hard. devz can shit games out in their sleep. but we as gamers, paying $60 a game want quality. a fresh gaming experience.

the rest of us are actually playing games not discussing which one has bigger balls.

when I'm buying a game, I'm not buying it for multiplayer only nor am I buying it for single player only. I'm buying a complete package.
I would like them to review both parts of the game in detail and explain the pros and cons of both. that way I can sort of judge which part il be spending more time on.

i think piracy, to a certain extent, comes from all the protection and hoops that a regular legit buyer has to go through as opposed to just installing a crack and viola, good to go.
i remember the whole spore debacle that only allowed gamers to install the game certain amount of times. after that the key didnt work anymore. half those bootlegged movies are in cinema experiences. when you play it with 7.1 surround sound you can hear people talking and coughing and you cant even tell em to STFU.
if thats not bad enough, the camera angle and colour is completely off. istead of puishing myself through that, il just wait till half price day at the movies <every wednesday> and go watch the movie.

uncharted:DF is still one of my favourite games ever. i remember when i bought it, i just thought it was an ok game. never read many reviews on it. when i played it i was blown away. i think because i was so pleasantly surprised that it was so brilliant is what hooked me in.

however, u got me thinking....the more consoles that sell, the more people will be buying games, therefore more will be on PSN, and so multiplayer will start getting more interesting. so in a very round-about way, this does have something to do with ACTUAL gamers.
and how does this change my life?
the main reason it would suck is coz people already have a preconceived idea of what they expecting to see. which is why a lot of the game -> movies/ comic book -> movies suck.
if you give them something different they wont agree with it and therefore its fail and if you stick to it 1:1 it will be lame coz as strong as the story is told in the game, changing the narrative changes the dynamics of the story from great to just ok.
