Now this was a fantastic game, it just kept getting better. Such a fantastic entry and respectful to the historical material. SuckerPunch and Insomniac are the best Sony has right now. Can't wait to see what they have next
I have no interest in what cuckman is working on, imo LOU2 was an average game that changed nothing from its original entry that got super pandering points. ND was better during the Rubin/Wells era and during the time Amy was in charge of story writing. I honestly don't know why Evan lets this guy run rampant, also spare me the excuses, its long documented that druckman is awful to work with and for.
The game looks like a mixed bag and definitely has "woke trash" stink on it. I don't care about the devs saying that as to me it shows the absolutely forced character design and potential story that would be included rather then any stupid notions of "racism". Devs need to walk away from woke elements all together, stop appealing to or appeasing the twitter echo chamber. No forced elements or characters based on california/west coast USA focus groups of close minded &q...
Kena and Hades are the top of the indie games this year for me. Its amazing what small teams can do at times
Not a fan of mobile games, but the OST for this slaps
Very solid picks, after how disappointing December was I'm glad to see a stronger start to 2022.
Shenmue was a true watershed moment in gaming. There were just so many elements that even if they did not originate with the series, they were refined, tweaked and combined in a way that was never done before. For the era this was released in it was mind blowing at the freedom, density, and depth you were given in the game world. Couple that with a beautiful OST, cutting edge graphics and deep fighting system and it was really something special. very few games have ever captured my attention ...
Thing is can it do it? GT is an amazing series but its so sim heavy at this point that its a bit off putting. Yes GT was always meant to simulate real driving but as a game I feel you always loose something when you fully commit to a niche. Like From Software's souls games, their difficulty is why most play them but you do shed a few players because its not as approachable. Likewise GT can't be a racer for all race fans without some adjustable settings to make it more Arcade/pick-up a...
Maybe not the newer releases but Itagaki's DOA's do, imo. They are simple in design but very fun and balanced in execution. I think Tekken hit its sweet spot a long time ago and since has become less then it once was, but perhaps thats just my playstyle vs the game mechanics. Take Soul Calibur 1&2 both almost perfect fighters in my opinion, but the later games while adding to their mechanics and move sets lost the more methodical/defensive gameplay that I loved in the originals, D...
The Series X is a great console, vastly improved over the XBone but time will tell if it gets new must have exclusive series that defined and grew the 360. I don't know if MS have the studios to pull off a game on the same level as Gears of War. The hardware is there in spades but their first party studios are in a odd state in my opinion. The Bethesda acquisition is huge financially but what state they are in creatively is debatable. 343 pulled off its first good Halo (imo) with Infinite...
When someone asks if you want to see the lewds, you answer YES!
its very much like FFT theres a demo you can try, just FYI
yup right there with you. movie was a 4/10 for me. It was basically a parody of the first, wrapped in cheap slow mo cartwheels. A literal shell of its former self.
yeah but not for the reasons you think
lol implying Nintendo has an online. Its all just LAN features the consoles handle on their own locked behind a pay wall. there is no Nintendo servers outside the store
Sucks to be them, DRM sucks, always has. PC has long had horrible practices that all of gaming should never adopt and yet here we are. Content-less discs, unfinished games, DLC hell, ship it now patch it later...but yeah PC Master race....such pixels, much frames. PC is great for a lot of reasons but the business model it typically rides on is pure trash.
This is what Halo has come to in 2021.....
Its a great arcade racer, the reality of the brand that carries it may not appeal to everyone but this is a close to a new Ridge Racer as were likely to get
I really don't know what to think of this game. Its got better on the second demo but ugh the color palette and overall look of the game are just so drab and reek of PS360 era games where everything had a muted brown tone applied to it. The menus are clunky and have way too much info crammed on to them. I want to like the game but the jury is out right now.
on today's episode of "no one cares, China and the stuff happening there"
