I really want to like this game but there is already too much DLC. I'm sick of this trend with fighters. DOA was/is the most guilty of this after Itagaki left and then Tekken is not much better. SF5 was a disaster, its like the game devs in this genre don't learn from each others mistakes. Is it really that hard to focus on a roster, simple story mode and make the mechanics and net code solid? SoulCalibur 1&2, Tekken 3, MvC2, DOA 2-4 all accomplished this while feeling packed wit...

digital future clowns be gone.

MS is really in a growth period right now. they kind of fell apart internally at the end of the 360 era and are only now starting to put things in place to have consistent content. Their major brands suffered big studio changes after/during 360 and while the IPs survived and have carried on they definitely lost some steam. Halo Infinite dropping down in the live charts so quickly shows that, and while Gears 5 is a fine game its not quite the darling that the original 3 were. Nintendo has so m...

can't they though? I mean you paid the $25 and all you got was 8 tracks and the promise of more with no release schedule

Big time hyped for this. These are beautiful and endearing games, the second coming back is especially great to see. I just hope there is a physical release. I'll likely wait for the PS5/XSX release as the boost in resolution (HDR) and load times over Switch is likely going to be significant, but again put them both on a cart and Switch will be where I buy it.

Also big lol to those who remember the Wii-make of Klonoa 1 coming with promotions for fish taco's (wahoo&...

hopefully soon, I find it hard to believe Square would not want this on there but who knows Nintendo may have paid for exclusivity. Considering they announced the second was coming to Switch in the same presentation that may be the case

same here. everything should get a physical release, you don't own digital. Perhaps Asia will get physical copies like they have for the other Square remasters

I agree I was very underwhelmed by what they did to "improve" this game. The next question is will the change/censor anything to appease the the content censors like they did for FF8.

Who down votes this? Its 2022 and people still don't get that digital releases have poor longevity in most cases and that its just a rental that can be taken away at a moments notice.

Mario Kart needs to keep expanding the series and characters it represents. They made great decisions putting Zelda, Splatoon and Animal Crossing characters in. Next do Metroid, FZero, Xenoblade, possibly open up the series like they did for Smash to guest characters as well

could not agree more. I'm sick of online games, MMOBA and anything in that vein. gaming is getting way too big and as a result is making way too much trend chasing trash

I feel WAY too much importance is put on reviews. Its always been that way but with the extreme cost of making games these days I feel reviewers are more of a detriment to creativity and variety as no company wants the risk. Still without reviews how would consumers find out about buggy trash like cyberpunk and well this in its current state

This is less then encouraging. I can't believe there are enough people who actually want this kind of crap

Yes but imo, even with the one IP Bungie is in a healthy state. The same could not be said for Zenimax or Activision/Blizzard. MS secured some great IP's but not a lot of great talent. Both the Xbox acquisitions are fixer uppers to me, they got good bones but the rest needs an overhaul. I'm not saying that Bungie is some massive win here either as IDGAF about Destiny and never have but the IP is solid and generating revenue, so they likely paid more based on potential future earnings ...

I'd love to see Bungie bring back Oni, just like I'd love to see Blizzard revive StarCraft: Ghost. hopefully with better funding these studios can branch out to more unique content now.

I don't see this as big news, to be fair the only reason I saw the Microsoft acquisitions as a big deal was because of the size of the companies and the amount of money. None of these would effect my decision to purchase one brand over the other. Especially with Sony stating that Bungie will remain multiplatform

I will say this though, with each of these acquisitions it may seem like less choice for gamers but it fortifies the industry as a whole from china. Which anyth...

oh boy just want every gamer (never) wanted a bunch of UK Labour Party dipsticks writing a story on American politics. I'm sure it will be full of stunning and brave moments and characters while they "battle" for equity, social justice and all other sorts of degenerate one sided events from the free WIFI at Starbucks. Character enhancements include tweeting overly long posts that completely "own", with bonus EXP multipliers if your character has the $3,000 laptop and a...

The end of an era. This makes games like Yakuza a digital memoir to the Sega arcades. Sadly declining visitors were a thing before but stupid covid really put the nail in the coffin. I lament the death of arcade style games, so many great quick pick up and play games came from that design type, especially from Sega
