How do devs of a big AAA franchise not look at that framerate and go "Hey Bob, should we shave off about 150 from that huge crowd there to bring the game to a playable framerate?" Incompetence at its finest.
Also, I think the whole CPU dictating the framerate thing is a bunch of bullcrap.
Have you skipped his intros where he always says things like "I don't even like video games" He isn't a "gamer" dude, so its not like people are using Conan video game reviews to inform their gaming purchases. At least I hope they aren't...
Its funny you say that because watching the TGS trailer, I was shocked to find that Sutherland actually sounded BETTER than troy baker and robin akin-downes. He seems to have improved greatly from GZ (in which he had like 20 lines lol).
Wow a civil response on the internet? this world is just full of surprises lol. You make a good point.
Im probably going to get down voted all to hell for this, but I still think the writing isn't great. The lore and world building in halo is pretty cool, but the character interactions are pretty mediocre in my opinion.
I still think the facial expressions and hair look pretty bad for a next gen game. Hell, plenty of last gen games do hair and facial expressions better than what I have seen of this game.
Not sure why you got all the disagrees, its true. I am struggling to find out how bayonetta 2 does not appeal to the Japanese. It doesn't make any sense. Then again, lightning is their favorite final fantasy character of all time, so that kinda gives some perspective lol
I know the biggest cheer was from Tabata asking the crowd "Do you want japanese voices in the overseas versions of the game?" And obviously the crowd went wild. and Tabata said "Well, we will have to work on getting that in for you guys" or something like that. essentially, dual audio for ffxv 90% confirmed.
Your one of the few people who seem to understand the combat here. But it makes them feel edgy if they don't listen and just hate on the game so I doubt explaining it will do much.
sure thats easy. So, the combat seems to have evolved from the button mashing that Nomura seemed to be striving for (huge KH fan, but its true). We have to customize our combos pre-battle by choosing which weapon is are starting hit, our main combo weapon, and weapon for the finisher, etc. Also, watch the clip Tabata released during the extended look where it looks even faster than Nomura's. Have you ever heard of games starting out slow, and then getting faster paced as the character lev...
Dude I bet you don't even know anything about the combat. Let me guess you just heard those crappy quotes from Tabata and haven't actually looked into the clarifications regarding the combat system. Have you heard about timing based parrying, timing to execute co-op attacks, challenging optional dungeons, setting up your weapon deck, using a parkour system to climb up huge enemies and hit their weak points, a dedicated technique button, phantom swords? No character switching is a huge...
too bad Wii U has better exclusives as of now….oh wait I forgot its about the sales not the games themselves anymore right?
To release what looks to be the best final fantasy since X? Yup.
Don't listen to the preview. This game isn't like Dynasty Warriors beyond the fact that they are both real time action combat systems.
I may sound ignorant here, as I'm not too familiar with this game or monster hunter, but is this game like monster hunter, except with a less clunky, more responsive and fluid version of monster hunter's combat?
Nope. Don't give clicks to an article that is potentially the most SJW crap I have seen in my life.
Too lazy to read. Is this a satirical article or just the worst thing ever written?
"Decided to make the game more run and gun." LOL. I'm done. Play ground zeroes on the hardest difficulty and say that again.
Whats up with all the disagrees? Somebody stealth hating on metal gear lol...
Assassins Creed is like the 3rd best selling video game franchise in the entire industry. They make a pretty penny every year off this milked franchise.
