I don't really get the "uncanny valley" effect with Naughty Dog games because they choose to hand animate the facial expressions instead of mocapping the actors' facial expressions. To me, this allows them to achieve a sense of realism while also giving the characters just a bit of stylizing so that it doesn't look too real in a weird way.
What does gamestop have against the xenoblade franchise? lol first it was the game, now with the shulk amiibo...
Have you guys seen how many views it already has on the playstation channel? Pretty sure that besides uncharted 4, this was the most viewed specific video game out of playstation experience on the playstation channel. Shows just how much we want a FF7 Remake…but that would just make too much sense right?
Dude calm down. The last Assassins Creed I bought was Assassins Creed 2 lol. I barely even like the series, but I just hate annualization. For example, Metal Gear is one of my favorite franchises and I would HATE if they came out every year. Releasing a game every year that isn't a sports game is just a stupid idea.
Complaining about low res textures on a highly compressed stream of a game still in development that looks fantastic already "kills immersion?" Sure… Also the day Naughty Dog games have graphics that "kill immersion" let me know.

After being so hyped after watching the uncharted footage and then going online to see a bunch of unfounded negative claims about the game, I remembered a quote I really like from Ken Levine, "We can kill the industry with cynicism." It seems gamers care more about low res textures on bush #432 than actual fun gameplay experiences.

The ubisoft of the ps2 generation and the ubisoft of today are so different to me, its crazy to think they are the same company. With their thousand man teams, a lot of their games really lack soul in my opinion.
The problem is that they recently said the want to focus even more on mobile games in a financial meeting they had last month. Which is concerning because as of now the only worthwhile in-house square enix console jrpgs are kingdom hearts (well in 3 years when it releases on consoles again) and final fantasy.
