There are problems and inequalities for all demographics. This is also true of white males.
Yes historically social injustice has been from white males towards the other demographics and there has been great strides to combat that and it has been more successful for some groups than others. I hate prejudice in society and I hate people not being treated as equals.
Perhaps my personal feelings on this issue stem from the fact that I myself am a mixed race male...

If you can create controversy where there is none, on a topic where if anyone challenges you, you can just claim the challenger is a bigot and sound good and coherent enough to make pseudo sense then you will generate enough money from clicks out of whatever outrage you cause.
All these people have made a career out of this and really the only things being exploited are pixels.
Games are made to be pleasing to the eye. Women, men, children and household appliances are all background decoration behind the main characters...
It's just that women are the only ones important enough to complain about being used that way.
For me it depends on how long a game is and whether it's worth that amount of my time invested in its length. I will happily pay $60 for a game that will past me 40+ hours with an engaging story but I wont pay anywhere near that amount for something designed to pass small amounts of time here and there with minimal effort.

When I say that men and women don't have the same legal standing I do mean in regard to children but not in regard to child support. A women has the right to give a child up for adoption or abort, she can elect to not be a parent in a personal or financial way if she so desires. A man however does not have that right. I am sure there are plenty of women who don't mind the way females are portrayed in media also, "feminists" hardly represent the whole spectrum of the female gender. I agree with you though I am not personally offended by how sexualized men are in games but I would understand if some men were. I identify as a feminist and because of taking the time to look into what the word means I know that a feminist is someone who wants equality for both genders.
Anyone who looks at something from a standpoint of only one gender with disregard as to how they may be portraying the other in a very negative light be it consciously or sub consciously is being sexist.

Gamers don't have any kind of organization, there is no gamer central command that I am aware of (the closest I can think of would be sony, microsoft and steam and I seriously doubt they want to weigh in on a controversial topic).

I will however argue the point that your point of view and that in the video are feminist in nature. Feminism seeks to make males and females equal in every way, this includes the consideration of both how males and females are effected and portrayed in certain media. You understand that pc will benefit from direct x12 also right? And at a greater degree than xbox one? You also understand that hardware cannot magically improve also right?
What they likely meant was that at launch xbox one and ps4 were weaker than the pc's out then at that time and the gap is only widening.

With microsoft announcing that they intend to have gamers be able to play xbox games in their browser, perhaps they are trying to make sure a company recognized for minecraft can bring all gamers (casual and hard core alike) into that service.
microsoft know they can make money on their ip's but the console xbox one isn't making them squat. I see the xbox brand becoming more of an online service through browser and dropping the hardware side of things.
