We blaming Series S for the woes of Forespoken now? How many PS5 games were also made for the PS4? The entire concept is ridiculous.
No Sony made no mention of the cost of inclusion into PS Plus by Microsoft.
Fighting words? His words were basically the Monty Python Black Knight "I'll bite your legs off" come back. lol
@mandf ~ that was due to the regulators choosing to not include them. It was pointed out by the regulators that PS5 and Series S|X are in a league of their own and that Switch doesn't have a comparable base.
At this point the only reason COD would no longer be on PlayStation is if SONY chose not to allow it. Simple as that... they are the only ones that have chosen not to sign a deal to ensure COD is available to their system. Microsoft will still put said game on PlayStation but will no be obligated to do so per any said contract. That will force Sony's hand in the kind of foreclosure of games they themselves seek to do via other methods.
The consumers are absolutely empowered. They give consumers more choice as to where they can purchase ABK games. They are not removing COD from any system it is already on and are adding it to systems it has never been on. Any idea COD will be removed from PlayStation is simply not fact. And future COD titles will still be on PlayStation too.
"...over 122 million Switches with 994 million copies of games had been sold for the platform."
What does any of that have to do with Game Pass vs PS Plus offerings?
People in the comments obviously didn't listen to the complete point being made. It wasn't in this case in particular that would lead to said "Death Valley" comment but the idea that such regulatory moves of the kind are counter to what they are hoping to achieve in the UK.
@Elda ~ so the 3.6 users score is not actually people that played the game?
ZERO connection to Elden Ring other than open world. Dropping last years GOTY in reference with Forespoken just reeks of trying to hard to put a good spin on a not so good game.
You are insulting Death Stranding with that comparison.
You need to get out more.
Not correct. Most acquisitions are for the resources as in the case of ABK the acquisition would not be going through if not for the mobile infrastructure that Microsoft Xbox is looking for. The IPs are only of importance in that of what they are supplying in terms of revolving funds from resources already put into place. If an IP is not profitable then Microsoft nor Sony really factors it as much in the business plan.
Very rare difference to their plan was Zenimax where t...
First I have heard any such thought about it being bad.
Look at all the hate now for all the PlayStation main gamers that have professed to owning an Xbox too. N4G has truly became the land of the herd.
@jznrpg "On June 19, 2000, on the ninth anniversary of Bungie's founding, Microsoft announced that it had acquired Bungie and that Bungie would become a part of the Microsoft Game Division." And it remained that way until 2007 were it and Microsoft announced that Bungie was splitting from Microsoft and "becoming a privately held limited liability company named Bungie, LLC".
"the best upcoming PS5 games reveal titles dedicated to PS5, such as Forspoken" when you start off like this you know the person writing hasn't a clue.
Unmatched...?
When the replies start coming in with explanations on what the eye can actually see then you know people are just talking bull. lol
