Point being it was marketed as only capable due the PS5 SSD.
PlayStation Showcase was basically them doing an E3 and not even showing up again. (but but but Spider-Man 2)
And now media outlets are going on about insiders claiming they held back on purpose. lol
You hold back when you have too much to show or you are so lacking in up coming games that you have to save something so you don't starve in the coming months. And obviously there wasn't "too much to show"... there was hardly anything show...
I like how they haven't been able to produce a multiplayer game worth releasing so they toss in the single player experience to quell the masses. lol
You played it for a couple of hours as you admit. You didn't even get out of the tutorial mode. And yet you are nothing but talking about how bad the game is when you have barely even touched it. Why would anyone care what your opinion is on a game you really haven't even touched?
Anyone saying Redfall is "boring" hasn't actually played Redfall. For sure it has some issues... but being boring is not one of them.
@mocaak
Microsoft for sure mirrored Sony business practice back in the day. It was a practice that worked when they shared more of an equal base back in the Xbox 360 days. Later generations has been less so equal base so the business practice costs Microsoft more than same deals made for Sony in ventures. They have then changed leadership and gone with a different focus where MAU is the backbone of their business plan. GamePass has become a heavy focus and money for big na...
Funny that my son has just gotten back into the game and is having a blast. Can't say the same for his adventures in the first title.
What he aligns with is people actually playing the game versus those that have chosen not to based on others reviews or simply not even having the game on their system of choice.
@Profchaos
No. That portion of the contract simply allows more so Microsoft leeway in the process. ABK doesn't really have a valued interest in disallowment of deal based on that contract point.
@Redemption-64
Not correct. They simply added terms applying during appeal process. As is MS/ABK could go through with deal and the most CMA could do is lay fines. Of which UK can judicially overturn said fines. Currently appeal process at m...
Game is fun. Simple as that. Gunplay is great. Vampire variety is unique. Methods of taking down enemies are varied if chosen to do so. Weapons are nice and I like the need to constantly be looking for new stronger weapons to battle the enemy that are growing stronger as you level up. Graphics look great. Environment looks great though some are turned away from the artistic take that Arkane always has in its games. I am playing on Series X and have found next to no real bugs or glitches after...
Simple fact here. UK will not be the determining factor in the acquisition. If the deal gets through FTC then there is nothing UK can do about it. CMA choice would then be simply the removal of UK from COD and Microsoft business which would be a much smaller loss to Microsoft than the deal in which they are currently working towards here.
Really? So Microsoft is using marketing weight in a market that they are but a fraction of? lol
"It is surely a reasonable pro-competition and pro-innovation view of the world to believe, first, that the market should be left to develop freely if cloud-based delivery is the coming force; and, second, that Microsoft is big enough already if it has an estimated 60%-70% of cloud gaming services." not in the least. As the entire premise of the blocking was based off pure speculation of the future of a brand new market that is near impossible to pinpoint its growth in such manner a...
None of this is correct. Simply Streaming services earn money off the subscription. They do not sell the games. Services that offer both sales and streaming will make regular commission off the sale and their regular subscription earning. Simple as that.
Microsoft does not earn money off 3rd party gam streaming on their xCloud service. They actually pay for inclusion of games on their service to devs/publishers. And they earn off the subscriptions. Now if they sell a game ...
When Sony doesn't offer up anything this year except DLC they start putting out articles about how bad Xbox is at doing things. Can't make this stuff up. lol
It's a DLC.
I guess the saying needs to be adjusted then? You gotta pay MORE to play. lol
It's a DLC. lol
Note: Firewalk has made nothing yet. People appear in media to be lauding this as some great acquisition. the only positive about it is the fact Sony is looking at investing in more multiplayer
“Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is a game that utilizes dimensions and dimensional rifts, and that would not have been possible without the solid state drive of the PlayStation 5." ~ Insomniac Games creative director Marcus Smith
Edit: and this was not just referencing any SSD. Conversation was directly on the idea Xbox Series X SSD wasn't fast enough to handle what the game needed and that it was PS5 SSD specifically the reason why the game could be made..
