Lucky PS5 has the option to add another SSD. ;)
There is likely a point of best return for developers. Too many games offered and you are just bloating the system and developers games can be lost amongst the crowd. Games are often taken out and return later for another round with hopes of returned focus on the game when it is announced back into the mix.
He is simply pointing out the games leaving versus the games coming in. It is a cycle that occurs based on how long a developer chooses to keep their game in Game Pass.
Obviously you have no idea what you are talking about. Halo Infinite "Multiplayer" is free for all Xbox players without Game Pass requirement.
@brewin - exactly. they are doing the same thing they did with Miles Morales for PS5. You had to purchase it with original Spider-man or not have it at all. Was no option to buy only the Spider-man by itself on PS5 just as there is no option just to buy PS5 version of Ghost of Tsushima without directors cut.
Point being that Ghost of Tsushima is in the PS Store now for full price of $60. The directors cut which includes the original game and expansion is also selling for $60. So the point is that the early supporters of the game will have to pay $20 more for expansion or $80 in total.
Now if the original game was selling at say $40 on the PS store now then yes you could say it has simply gone down in price after 1yr and the expansion is the $20. But when original game has not ...
So a $20 update for PS4 owners that likely already purchased the original game for $60. So early adapters to the game will pay in total $80 for the game on PS4 or $90 if they want to upgrade to PS5 version. While if they waited they could just buy the $70 PS5 version or the $60 PS4 version. Really kind of crappy they are charging the same price for the Directors cut as the OG game but charging OG owners $20~$30 extra to update.
$30... sorry.
Proven to be accurate. $70 for PS5 version. If you already own PS4 version then you can upgrade with a $30 update for PS5.
This was fixed within hours of reports.
Guess what... GOTY editions, Gold editions, Platinum editions, Collectors editions, Director's cut editions, etc. usually don't come free to people who owned the regular editions of a game. If you are expecting this to be free or discounted for some reason then you might be wishing for something that isn't likely.
@Eonjay - obviously the fact Sony was interested in making Starfield an exclusive and were supposedly in line to also acquisition Bethesda the idea the game were going to be on "Xbox" anyways was never a guarantee.
Nothing in the article stated they love the PS5. It all talks about preferring next gen because it allows them to do more than the limitations of last gen presented.
"...‘breath of fresh air” from the development side of things, citing having to cut content from previous projects." - basically saying they don't have to cut stuff out of the game because it is next gen. Nothing to this remark, it is cookie cutter material and not worthy of an article to be fair.
Seriously... most nobody has heard of any of the games they have made before Returnal. But Sony buys them and suddenly all their previous works are classics.
"These guys have been pumping out quality PlayStation games for generations now and they nailed it with Returnal!' - what games are you thinking about? Looked at their list of games and nothing and nothing really stands out to me.
So it appears they have been relegated as a remaster development team. Curious to see what or if they are allowed to do their own game instead of just remasters?
Not gonna lie. You have nailed the N4G vibe of late.
No... what I mean is people are thinking that you are playing cloud games on Series X system. But it actually is just reference that now the cloud servers will be utilizing Series X customized servers now.
There currently is little to no way of preventing DDoS attacks. As long as systems rely on open traffic formats then DDoS will always be an option for those wanting to create chaos. Only option is mitigation and identification after the fact. This is a battle that can't be won with current technology. We are working against ourselves and DDoS attacks are becoming larger and more damaging each year.
