This couldn't be mentioned enough: nothing is ever hack-proof. Heck, even an entire nation's own separate military internet can and have been infiltrated. It's always an arms race with companies and hackers. A company beefs up its security, hackers then bring it down... and this continues as long as both parties don't get exhausted. To say that Sony never thought about security is silly. Kinda like a homeowner who locks his doors and windows everyday but still got broken into....

My PC, even after installing programs to combat spyware and viruses, still picks up the occasional malicious file once in awhile. But I still use it every single day (paypal, online gaming, etc.). Nothing is ever safe. Once PSN is restored, I'll be back playing online again.

I doubt Kevin Butler cares, he's probably too busy slacking off and playing god of war 3 lol

So if a guy made an obvious post and gets a lot of agrees, would you point that out? Look at the other comments, they're mostly posted by dudes, and they have more agrees than disagrees. Yeah it's obvious, but it also makes sense.

Maybe BF3 fans don't want to bother with facebook. Some may haven't even known about this Like event. I'm a huge Bad Company 2 fan, and I'm excited for Battlefield 3, but I hesitated to 'like' the page. It's kinda like when someone dares you to camp out in a graveyard just to prove you're not afraid of ghosts, but it's pointless 'cause you don't have to prove anything to anyone. Same thing goes for Like-ing the BF3 facebook...

We didn't buy a PS3 because it had OtherOS. We bought it because it can play PS3 games and play blu-ray movies. Those features still exist, and that's why I don't see any reason to protest against Sony. I, however, protest what Anonymous is doing. Because they are, ironically, the ones preventing PS3 owners from enjoying their console. They're just using OtherOS as an excuse for their real motive. Remember when Sony removed backwards compatibility in new PS3 models? Anonymous ...

Sales-wise, yeah, you can compare the Wii to the PS2. But there's no way the Wii's library of games come close to matching the PS2's.

"Looks like Nintendo likes to follow Sony's blueprint for sucksess." Wait, which is it? Did they suck or did they succeed? You just said both consoles had the highest sales in their respective generation, so how could you then say it was a "sucksess"?

lol i love how they're calling the wii 2 as the ps2 of next generation, completely ignoring this gen's wii.

"I Will Cream Myself If MGS 4 Is On NGP, I Dont Own A PS3 (Own A Xbox 360) So I Can Play Some Of Those Awesome PS3 Exclusives (Uncharted, Killzone, LBP, Resistance, MGS Etc.)"

Why not buy a ps3 and enjoy its exclusives now?

"In this case thats irrelavent because the NGP is being marketed as a "portable console with PS3 quality games" Why bother with the portable when you can get the real thing with on a bigger screen, 3d support, devs with more experience, and no possibility of having to pay for a 3G service ON TOP of ur regular internet service?"

Does. Not. Make. Sense. At. All. It's PORTABLE, that's the whole point. Using your logic (if there's any), laptops ar...

Sony's a ship. The gamers are its passengers. When Sony took away some features of the ship, some passengers decided to retaliate. They then decide to take down the whole ship, and other gamers with them. No one wins. Seriously, the hackers in this situation aren't in it to help out the rest if the gaming community. Would their fight force Sony to put back OtherOS? Wanna have a better browser? Go get a a computer. Wanna play with emulators? Get a computer.

A comic book is essentially a storyboard. Videogames are game first, story later. Can you imagine a videogame consisting of only cut scenes? That pretty much defeats the whole point of videgames as being games.

I finally saw a wolf. I wasn't prepared to see one right away, and I didn't have a couple of bones with me. So I had to corral it using cobblestones. Hopefully it's still there so I could tame it :D

I remember trading in 5 of my ps2 games. A few I remember were Viewtiful Joe and Silent Hill 3. EB Games (now Gamestop in Canada) gave me $3 for each. If only I knew about this craigslit-type of site from where I'm at, 'cause I could have easily sold those games for $10 each (this was when the ps3 was still newly released and older games haven't plunged in resale prices as much).
